3-2-3 Ttar Prime
4-4 Mandibuzz (2 black white(2 emerging powers))
2-2 Zoroark
3 Absol Prime

6 dark energy
4 special dark
4 double colorless

2 interviewers question
4 team rocket
2 rare candy
3 Pokémon collector
3 pokemon communication
3 professor elm’s training method
1 flower shop lady
3 PONT
2 great ball

the idea would be to start with absol for early spread, then transitioning into a mandibuzz to snipe the bench, while building up a ttar. I like having the other mandibuzz for later game because it's attack isn't that bad. Zoroark is a venge killer, or mid game changer to get the card i need. Primarily attack with absol and mandibuzz in the beginning to try and get two ttar set up that can each deal sixty each turn.

I use to run a deck like this and it is an autoloss to donphan. I am currently messing around with adding tornadus. Absol is very situational on who goes first.

i don't think that it is an autoloss, mandibuzz does a lot more than expected, i ran something similar to it at nats, and where i really struggled with it was against magnezone. something i've been thinking about for donphan is adding jirachi in though just to make it easier

What's your strategy against Reshiboar/phlosion decks? I want to run a Tyranitar deck too at the local battle roads in 11 days too. It's a strong deck for sure, but it feels a bit inconsistent (part of that is the inability to run Cleffa since darkness howl kills that off in short order).

I'm not 100 sold on what pokemon I'll put in the deck to finish.

3-2-3 Tyranitar
2-2 Zoroark

for sure.

I'm thinking in addition to that a 2-2 Mandibuzz and a 2-2 Beartic line to counter Donphan running rainbow energies.

Magnezone is a frustrating deck to face with a Tyranitar based deck. Whenever I play Magnezone decks the prize cards are always pretty close, but Magnezone seems to just edge it out in prizes 6-5 most of the time.

Absol prime i wouldnt recommend. it is very situational and as pointed out if you dont start with it then it makes 3 cards in your deck not using full potential.

perhaps you could:
buff the zoroark lineup to 3-3 making reshiphlosion and zekrom matchup easier
add in weavile claw snag to disrupt opponents hand

i like mandibuzz as the donphan counter, as it punishes them for eq;ing constantly, though perhaps try twins since you might fall behind early on, this will also make playing cleffa an option incase of bad starts

I tested Tyranitar once and it worked pretty well. I played 4-3-3 line of Tyranitar, 1 Smeargle and 1 Cleffa. Strategy was just spread damage all over the table. I used Max Potions to Heal Tyranitar, so when I got one out, it never died. I suggest to try it, it's only problem is Donphan and Zoroark's are sometimes hard to win (suggest to play ~2 DCE that you can use Power Claw or Megaton Tail). If Donphan isin't very popular in your area, I suggest to try this kind of Tyranitar.

4-3-3 Tyranitar
1 Cleffa
1 Smeargle

3 Juniper
4 Collector
4 PONT
4 Twins
4 Junk
4 Max Potion
3 Communication
3 Candy
1 Catcher
1 Gear
1 Switch

2 DCE
4 SP Dark
6 Dark
^has 4 spaces for something (maybe some 2-2 line that you don't get donked that easily).

EDIT: And 1 Absol Prime is pretty cool if you start the game with collector xP.

What about playing it with dcl? i mean the point of ttar is to spread right? put your damage on there and the one psychic energy and move them all around for multiple kos

You could try a seeker or two, in addition to another switch or tow in this varian...just an idea though
