So I just failed my professor exam due to having an old copy of the rules but the question that bothered me was this one.
A BKT Psychic kirlia has a mystery energy attached and evolves up to Gardevoir GX. They wanted to know what happens to mystery energy. According to mystery energy’s card text it gets discarded when attached to a none Psychic pokemon. I chose what I thought was an appropriate answer and I got it wrong can someone help me with this ruling?
The answer I chose was
The mystery energy is immediately discarded because the Pokémon it is attached to is no longer Psychic type
