I recently built this Tyranitar deck for Regionals play (5-3 at St. Louis) and while I am relatively happy with it, improvements are definitely possible. My strategy is to start with an Absol to disupt my opponents set up and give me time to build up a main attacking Tyranitar with hopefully others on the bench. Sableye is an optional donk option as well as a secondary starting option. Pachirisu helps with G and Unown G protects Claydol from Gengar. Here's the decklist:

Pokemon
4 Tyranitar (SF)
2 Pupitar (SF)
4 Larvitar (SF)
4 Absol (SW)
2 Sableye (SF)
1 Pachirisu (GE)
1 Unown G (GE)
1 Claydol (GE)
1 Baltoy (GE)

Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums
4 Poke Healers +
1 Luxury Ball
4 Roseanne's Research
4 Bebe's Search
4 Rare Candy
1 Broken Time Space
1 Felicity's Drawing
1 Team Galactic's Wager
2 Super Scoop Up
1 Cynthia's Feelings
2 Moonlight Stadium

Energy
4 Special Dark
11 Dark

Here's an idea!

play houndoom G to counter Dialga G!

It worked wonders in all 3 mathcups I played at states!

It won me all 3

Just one suggestion, if you run weavile(which every good t-tar list should), use the sneasel from Legends Awakened. Sorry Super Stoise ex, but looking at your opponent's hand and shuffling his/her tools (energy gains anyone?) back to their deck is SO much better than a snipe for 20 and a flip for twenty. Just my opinion anyways, but other than that good list Super Stoise.

I like (and have used) the Absol to punish the G decks while setting up behind the "absol wall."

THE PROBLEM with starting Absol instead of Sabelye is NOT GETTING YOURSELF SET UP!!

Look at your list. What draw supporters are there? What if you whiff the Claydol? What now?

If you run Absol, you HAVE TO have draw supporters like Oaks, Rowan, Cynthia's.

An Uxie or two would be a welcomed commodity as well.

That's good, and yes Weavile is bad in T-Tar.
I know it sounds good but really if you test this list vs a list that runs Weavile this list will win.

This is false.

At regionals, I played against a T-Tar that ran blissey, uxe, and absol. It didn't stand a CHANCE to speed ttar that has Weavile. The most energy I let him get on a T-Tar was TWO. I was already shadow charging and had two fully powered up T-Tar by the time I KO'd his second one.

Weavile is mandatory in Tyranitar. Absolutely mandatory. Otherwise, you will lose to so many decks that outspeed you, hit your weakness, and/or shut down Darkness Drive, such as Machamp, Rampardos, and Dialga G (or any G deck that techs that card, or runs it as support). If you can hide behind Weavile and get a Tyranitar primed early (possibly starting on your first turn if you run Broken Time Space), you will be putting a lot of pressure on your opponent to match your speed AND your huge damage output. Most decks can't deal with a Tyranitar that is fully charged on the 2nd or 3rd turn. Lucian's means that once the energy are in play, unless you can OHKO a Tyranitar, you're going to be dealing with a swarm for a while. Your list definitely needs them.

I also like Call energy here. No, it doesn't help you power Spinning Tail, but it does add 20 to Grind, and it can bail you out big time if you open with it. You also don't need as many Dark energy with Lucian's and your Body allowing you to make them go so far.
