Seriously though, Liability Typhlosion realy did well in Slough today, unbeaten I think! Thanks to Freddy for a great tourney and bad luck to thelegendkiller, that was a very close match:biggrin: Well done to Dot for getting an invite for the nationals. Oh, and Irwin lost to my Ditto deck, that was probably the highlight of the season!

w00t. The Guru takes down another CC win with Cole O' Cargo going unbeaten in 15+.
Winners of each age group:
10-: Ross A (invite passed down to someone, can't remember who though)
11-14: Conan J (invite passed down to someone, can't remember who though)
15+: Cole B (invite passed down to Paul C)
Game One vs Andrew R went to time, but I was ahead 3 prizes to 6.
Game Two vs Alistair F, good start, slightly annoyed by Bayleef's resistance to water =/, but otherwise fine.
Final Game vs. Fred E, using TyTan, he couldn't get out the benched Pokemon despite having a T1 Typhlosion w/out Energy Root, and I owned with Lotad. =D

We don't have state championships, plus afaik all our CCs charge, which tends to help motivate game shops

Crewe CC Feb 25th Reporty Thingy
Only 6 players in the 15+ category, including Stefanie and me.
Played T2 Dark Slowking again, after much debate and discussion. Better the devil you know ...
Apologies to Crewe players for not remembering your names !

Beautifly(DX)/Pinsir(LM) deck
A slightly tricky match-up for Slowking.
Opponent's strategy was to use Pinsir to Cry For Help for Beautifly.
Weakness and Beautifly's Power (sort of a mini Scizor Ex) did cause problems.
But got through okay - opponent was very upset.

Electrode Ex/Electabuzz deck
Flippin 'eck - what an annoying card Electabuzz is. 3 out of 4 turns you're paralyzed.
Opponent's stategy was to paralyze as much as possible while piling on energy for Electrode.
A very easy match for Slowking. He eats 90HP Ex Pokemon for breakfast.
WON 2-0

Metagross(DS)/Dragonite(DS)
Wow - what a game !
A real see-saw affair.
At one point, I very nearly conceded, hoping to gamble on winning the second game.
A really hard game - no quarter asked, and none given.

Painful, as he had cards in to stop non supporter trainers. Couldn't use candy or stadiums, and lost the first game. After that I had a better idea of what to do and managed to win. GG, all of them

An all grass deck, which needs speeding up. Didn't have much of a hope against my resistance.
