Got this idea from Jimmy Ballard a while ago. He mentioned playing Magikarp and Ditto in Machamp to beat all of the top decks right now. I expanded on the idea and came up with this list:

Pokemon: 26
4 Machop
2 Machoke
4 Machamp
4 Magikarp
1 Gyarados
3 Ditto
2 Unown R
1 Unown Q
1 Regice
1 Azelf
2 Uxie
1 Crobat G

T/S/S: 24
4 Pokemon Collector
2 Bebe's
2 Seeker
4 Rare Candy
3 Pokemon Communication
3 Pokemon Reversal
2 Junk Arm
2 Pokemon Rescue
2 Expert Belt
2 Broken Time Space

Energy: 10
4 Rainbow Energy
2 Warp Energy
4 Fighting Energy

--

Strategy:
Vs. LuxChomp and DialgaChomp- Swarm Machamp SF, 'nuff said.
Vs. VileGar- Swarm Ditto, discard with Regice.
Vs. Gyarados- Copy "Impersonate" early. Get all 4 Magikarps discarded, then start beating the hell out of Gyarados with Ditto. Ditto + Belt + Bat Drop OHKOs a belted Gyarados. If they said up DGX, use one of the 5 possible Pokemon Reversals to bring it up, "Take Out", and continue the strategy.
Vs. Machamp- Set up Gyarados the regular way. Let them fight through resistance while you hit heavy. Warp Energy + Seeker will keep him alive all game in this matchup. Also this is where Pokemon Rescue is your friend.

The problem: It loses to anything that isn't top tier. Thoughts?

It's silly...
You're supposed to play a deck that you like to play, not a deck designed to win against certain decks.
Think about it, when Yuta Komatsuda decided to play Luxchomp he didn't think of all his bad match-ups and gave up,
he just played his favourite deck, overpowering all adversities.
Play what you like and, trust me, you'll be able to defeat anyone... but me ( just kiddin' )!

This is probably the most backward things I have ever read on pokegym. It's a hilarious troll attempt though (if it is one)

Anyway, hot list man. Is there any reason your opting to run rainbows instead of plain psychics? It seems like the only energy attack you'd ever copy with Ditto is shadow room. You could run something like 6 Fighting and 2 Psychic with 2-3 Cyrus Conspiracy to help you get your energy out when you need it. Also find some room for warp point (drop a reversal and another card to put at least 2 imo), it works great with juink arm. Warp Point really helps any machamp deck take cheap prizes from all the benched basic techs that a lot of of decks play. For example, against gyarados, with 3 warp point and assuming you killed the initial sableye, you would only have to kill a max of for Gyarados to take 6 prizes, as opposed to praying that you hit reversal head to KO benched pokes.

And I'm really struggling to find something non-meta that would be a "bad" match-up for you, lol. Maybe something like scizor or Steelix would be hard.

Oh and try and add a 2nd Gyarados, dont want Azelf and your only Dos to be prized in a game where you really need him.

I like the Rainbows because it is really hard to get a T2 Take Out with only 4 or even 6 fighting energy. Plus, it lets you troll the random Jumpluff decks with Ditto. I really want to fit in Warp Point for the reasons you suggested. Maybe I can just take out the Unown R's all together.. And yes, Steelix, Scizor, Yanmega Judge, random stuff like that.. all bad matchups. Thanks for the help!
any other ideas?

-1 Machamp SF
+1 Machamp Prime

-3 Reversals
+3 DCE Help you power up against those non top tier decks.

-1 Communication
+1 Bebe's (Even though you have a counter for Vilegar you still have alot of trainers)

Ok.... I sorta rmb i posted a similar list to this before, but after some testing, i realised quite a few problems with this list.

Firstly, whenever you use ditto to attack, you will be behind on the prize trade. E.g. against decks like jumpluff, he draws the first ko, u return the ko, he draws another ko. End of the day, he wins the prize trade.

Secondly, ditto sounds good against gdos in THEORY, but after testing, i think that ditto is only good against gdos in mirror for the surprise ko. It is not a substainable way to kill gdos. Firstly, gdos gets the first prize. Secondly, against u, a gdos player would nvr belt. And you run only 1 bat, no turn and only 2 seekers. So you chances of being able to flash bite for the ko is very slim.

You might think that copying gdos' massive 130 hp would help u, but what any gdos player would do is hit you once, next turn, regi-move u to bench, ko-ing the ditto, and tail revenge for another prize. Hence, a gdos player would nvr be behind on the prize trade.

Thirdly, ditto again, is just a way to bypass fainting spell for gengar, not a good solid counter. I can easily shadow room one pixie and one regice once each, and then let u ko my sf gar, then i curse drop both for a double ko, while u are stuck with hurling my hand into darkness under u pull another energy.

So, here are my recommendations, stick with a hard and fast machamp list, with a 2/2 sf and prime split. Run infernape 4 lv x as a tech against gdos and regice for vilegar. Infernape 4 is a great tech since u will be able to draw all the cheap prizes off a gdos bench, and with prime, u dun have to worry about him setting up two gdos, cause if he sets up two, u can easily 2hko him while he needs to 3hko u. Regice is great for breaking early game trainer lock and getting ur champs out asap. Against vilegar, if you get a big enough prize lead, it is still possible to win despite him hitting u for weakness. Again, infernape helps out a lot here, bringing out his weak bench for u to oneshot,

However, if you really want to continue your deck idea, i recommend running a few SSU to rescue ur dmg-ed dittos to help ur gdos matchup. Also, palmers is definitely needed for recovery in this deck. A few poketurns for ur crobat also wouldnt hurt. Lastly, i would recommend running poke-blowers over reversals. 2 poke-blowers give the same effect as ur reversal but without the flip. This is manageable in ur deck, given that u run junk arms lol. Also, sometimes, poke blowers can give u the extra 10 dmg you need, such as against gdos.

I like the concept of ditto. I would scrap the gyarados and magikarps all together though. I played something similar last weekend going a mediocre 3-2. To beat gyarados(which is pretty easy) I play 4 wp, reversals junk arm etc. It's pretty fool proof from my testing. The ditto also may be what is needed to tip the decks matchup to gengar even.
