Umbreon UD vs Mesprit lv. X

If Umbreon uses his attack that blocks all effects of attacks from pokemon with bodies and powers, would that apply to mesprit lv. X? I was wondering because even though he has no powers he can still use attacks from the regular mesprit which does.

Yes, Umbreon's Moonlight Fang attack would protect it from any attack by Mesprit LvX.
Not because it can copy attacks from the Mesprint it leveled up from, but because both cards are in play as one and Mesprit has a Poke-Power.
