Unable to Log onto GTS from Diamond.

For some reason, I am unable to log onto the GTS or the global thing at the Battle Tower.

I have used 2 different DS'

My Connection is at 4 bars.

I have more than one Pokemon.

What Gives?

I can battle and trade directly with ease, but it will not allow me to do these two things.

Anyone have any ideas?
 
It can't be that because then it would block the DS completely, which isn't the case because I can battle and trade directly with others.
 
Perhaps the GTS was down at the time or something? WFC sucks at its best when you can log on anyways...

Also, lol linking him to the Nintendo customer support. They're about as worthless as their WFC.
 
I have a similar problem. Normal wi-fi with friends works perfectly fine, but when I try to connect to battle tower wi-fi OR gts, it...has some kind of problem. It starts to connect, but then the little dial will just go away and the game kinda freezes. (the dial doesn't go away on battle tower wi-fi, however) If I connect from a different router other than my own, they will work fine. I've talked to nintendo twice about this, and they can't explain it. Hopefully platinum will not have the same problem...
