Congratulations to you and your mom, it was nice meeting you both. I really wanted to make it to finals to get another try against your deck with a longer time limit, but your mom's Mag/Kiss was just way too good and my luck was just way too bad =/ Anyways you guys are awesome.

I feel so bad for bumping James out, I wonder if he had won the $300 and origins pass, would he have changed his mind and come to nats? Now we'll never know =/
 
Hey Austin great job in MA as one of the younger players and going undefeated. lol

Also your mom has become a great player too. I remember how well she did last year in the Grinder in Hawaii too!
 
Way to go team Reed! We were wondering why you guys weren't in Ohio on Saturday! Come on, don't make the trek to Michigan! We want a chance to win too ya know!

My mother confessed that her odds of beating me in a single game is about 20%, her using Mag/Kiss and me using G&G. She says luck would have given her one of the 3 games, but said I'd still have won. I agree with her statement on the matter.
 
Next time, you might want to let your buddy scoop/concede rather than picking your hand. That there's dancin with a DQ..

Congrats to you and your mom. Awesome finish! And Chris is right about that list, wow, how do you pull that off -- 14 NRG and starting with cool stuff like Duskull? Yikes!
 
great job austin, you deserved to win it this year. I wish i could've top cut with you guys but it didnt work out that way.

Don't feel bad dude; the cards just fell in your favor that day haha. Plus flipping 0/7 burn flips always sucks. But yeah even if i had won teh money i wouldnt have been able to go, so no worries bud.

Hey Austin quick question I was clean stuff up a bit and found the Worlds 06 Book and was flipping through it and it said you were 12, and then this year your masters. So did they mess up?

Yes, that was a definante mess up. I was 14 at the time, not 12. Lol, I got so mad when I saw that error for the first time.
