PokePop Administrator Staff member Apr 5, 2010 #2 Just like evolving, devolving a Pokemon brings a new Pokemon into play and you can't evolve that Pokemon normally that same turn. BTS and Rare Candy bypass that rule and so you can evolve any time using them, as long as you can play them, of course.
