Unknown Tool Attachment

I would like to clear this ruling up one way or another.

I saw the Ruling by Mike on TM's and multiple attachment.

However local players (and Judges) think they may attach multiple "unknown" tools to a pokemon.

Example:

Can you now attach 4 unknown E's and an unknown G to one pokemon? (using the Equip poke power)

No.
There is a rule about Tools in the rule book, in the appendix.
They are limited to one per Pokemon.
