(Unlimited) Mismagius GL's Grudge vs Dialga & Palkia Legend

So I was wondering with Mismagius GL's Grudge attack...

[1P] Grudge (20+) Does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each Prize card your opponent has taken.

Let's say my opponent has used Dialga & Palkia Legend's Time Control attack and has put some extra prize cards back. How would Grudge work in relation to that? Does it "keep track" of how many prizes my opponent has taken or is it simply the difference between 6 prize cards and whatever's left?
