~ URGENT! TJ's Milford, MA CC - Change in Start Time Due to Snow Storm ~

At this point the weather is looking like some scattered snow showers on Friday but OK Saturday, so hoping we're in the clear.
 
No snow in southern NH at this point, in fact the sun is making its way out. It is COLD though....about 10 this morning. See everyone at The Game Castle in a couple hours. Drive safe.
 
I won't due to work...and TJs is also in danger of work if I can't find somebody to cover for me...

WEATHER update for Manchester
from your friendly CT Pokemon folks:

National Weather Service and local forecasters are predicting
about 6" of snow in manchester, starting to accumulate in the
afternoon. Of course, the heavy snow is going to be where
we live along the coast, which never happens, so we'll be driving
right into it lol. Hopefully all you folks visiting from Mass can stay
ahead of it .... and with Team TJs running the show, you know
we'll get out of there quick!

A STORM MOVING OUT OF THE MIDWEST ON SATURDAY WILL SPREAD SNOW INTO
SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND. THE SNOW WILL REACH HARTFORD AROUND 4 TO 5 PM SATURDAY
...PROVIDENCE AND WORCESTER AROUND 6 TO 7
PM...AND BOSTON AROUND 8 TO 9 PM. :eek:
 
Our local weather in southern NH is currently saying that snow will begin later this afternoon, to early evening 5-6 pm and predictions of 8-10 inches of snow throughout the night into tomorrow and all day tomorrow.

Hopefully a post will be made here and at TJ's website as to the status of CC for tomorrow as early as possible to help people plan. It being the last New England CC and usually the largest attended event, I fear people will attempt traveling regardless of conditions because they do not want to miss it. Remember safety and health come first.

Anyone looking for information on tomorrow's event, my advice, check back here or at www.tjcollect.com for latest status.

Due to impending inclement weather, The Pokemon City Championship scheduled for TJ Collectibles in Milford MA on 1/11/09 has been changed to a later time. Registration will take place starting at ****11:15 a.m.**** Tournament start time will be approximately 12 noon. Please see below link for further details.

Be sure to attend this event prepared with your modified legal deck, neat & legible deck list, dice/damage counters & special condition markers.

Hi Brian,

I posted in Dylan's account too and then deleted mine because it caused a double post eliminator and I had to get it to the top. Hopefully Steve will come on and put an attention or something in his title to bring importance to the thread.

Thanks for the update Steve. Good idea to put it on the front page. 7:30 a.m. here in southern NH it is snowing in a very white out manner, and blustery. I hope it slows some in the next couple hours. The forecasters are calling for it ending noonish - early afternoon here.

Drive safe and allow extra time for travel everyone. See you all at TJ's safely!!
