strategy - get teddiursa out on bench, attach a DCE, next turn evolve to ursaring prime and attach a rainbow NRG with expert belt and attack for 110 with damage on ursaring

steelix prime is for stalling so i can get my ursaring set up, also for attacking

i see no need for candy add a couple more emcees chatter and 1 more metal energy

ps makeing sure you know pokebody only onix cause of errata

I don't like the idea of this deck only having 3 basic energies, considering how high the energy costs for some of these pokemon are, makes them almost impossible to search out with roseannes, and when your specials go to the discard pile, and with only having 3 energies left you can possibly recycle, you're gonna be in trouble.

Steelix Prime is not the best partner for Ursaring Prime. Both hitters have huge retreat, so you're better off choosing one and going for a strat.

Steelix Prime:
-Healing cards
-Discarding cards (Sableye, Felicity's Drawing)
-Memory Berry and SF Onix for the Harden

Ursaring Prime:
-Unown P
-Maxed out DCEs and Uppers
-Nidoqueen?

if going for steelix prime, i suggest using onix from stormfront. tank against those with 40 or less damage is too good not to pass up

You may want to replace the rare candys with Broken Time Space seeing as this is a stage 1 deck. And doesn't energy restore only count towards basic energies? :/ i'll have too check that. I'll get back to you.

i would replace the candies for BTS if i had any.
and yes, energy restore only works for basic energy

Your only running 3 basic energies...Getting a teddiursa with a DCE on T1 seems little bit unlikly.
The Rainbow Energy Auto-Damage is genuis though :) Because your pokemon have huge retreat cost, run a few warp points. This way you can rotate between attackers and try to avoid as many kos as possible.

I wish i had three steelix primes and urasing prime i just have two of both why dont you put broken time space in there in stead of rare candy.... i never thought of putting rainbow energy on urasing prime to add a damage counter but i think you over done it on the supperters and trainers in this deck.

i'll see if i have any warp points

I would agree with putting Unown P in the deck, since Rainbow Energy is unsearchable besides Interviewer's Questions essentially, Unown P is searchable for the most vital aspect of the deck, triggering the body of Ursaring. If you draw into Rainbow then that's great but I think Unown P can serve to be a good backup plan for that.

ok, i'll see if i have an unown p

Pokemon Contest Hall would help speed up your Basic Searching. since you all Stage 1 you can get Teddy out with a Belt and candy to Ursaring. only thing i dont like about the deck is that Steelix is much more of a Energy Hog than Ursaring and Retreat is...wow...even worse.... once he's up there....how do you get him back...? lol your gonna need Warp Energy or something.

Super Scoop Up of course!

Although the concept of Steelix may be somewhat like the Wailord in my Wailord deck, its not supposed to come back. It stays out till it dies, and hopefully lets you set up other stuff while tanking away for a few turns. If its calculated like this and you don't lose too many prizes with this method I can see how it could be efficient.
