Using Theme Deck codes to unlock in multiplayer

So I've entered codes for 3 different theme decks and apparently you can't use those cards in multiplayer? Correct me if I'm wrong but it's kinda disappointing to see that theme decks only work in single player, sigh... I've won 12+ times in Trainer Challenge with each of the decks too if any one would suggest that.

have you tried saving the theme decks?perhaps you dont know ,but in order to save them u first need to open one,then save it in one of the deck boxes

it says u have to click save to deckbox in order to save it
