Manectric Wouldn't hurt eevees except for umbreon prime because it hurts Poke Powers not Poke Bodies

Manetric doesn't hurt Umbreon prime!! :mad: His body protects it from getting damaged.

After playing out the deck some more, I've found some things to further adjust to make it more efficient.

Here's the list that my boyfriend and I came up with:

Pokemon=16
4-4 Umbreon/ 1. prime, 2. starter deck, 1. MD
1. Flareon RR
1. Espeon MD
2-2 Manetric PL
1. Uxie LA
1. Azelf LA

Supporters=15
3. Bebe's
2. PONT
2. Looker's Investigation
2. Collector
2. Black Belt
2. Seeker
1. Twins
1. Palmer's

Trainers=13
2. Warp Point
2. E-Belt
3. E-Exchanger
4. Pokemon Rescue
2. Communication
1. Luxury Ball

Energy=16
4. Special Dark
3. Fire
1. Psychic
3. DCE
5. Dark

~We substituted an Uxie for an Azelf-- more than one Uxie is redundant with a relatively full bench (assuming you have a full bench of Eevee and Manectric). If you need it again, that's what Seeker's for. I got stuck with Umbreon Prime being my final prize card in one of my games-- and I wasn't able to retrieve it. Since most of the Eeveelutions are only used once or twice in the deck, you need to be sure you can get to what you need with an Azelf.

~I took out Unown Q altogether. Since Umbreon MD gives Eeveelutions a retreat cost of 0, Manectric has free retreat cost, and Uxie goes to the bottom of your deck when you use it, it's really redundant to waste a draw to get a card you really don't need. Azelf is the only one without retreat-- but you still have Warp Points to get them out of the way, where you can Seeker them back to your hand.

~Black Belt really made the difference in my games, so I think a second one is needed. It also assures you that if one of your pokemon are going to run out of HP in the next turn, then you don't give your opponent an extra prize card because you needed the expert belt to knock out one of theirs.

~I switched it back to Palmer's, after I saw how much the Pokemon were in demand, rather than energy. It gives you the option of choosing Pokemon or Energies, so kudos to you for sticking with it. I increased the number of Pokemon Rescues, since they net back straight to your hand so they're immediately playable. In case you get locked out of using trainers, then you've got Palmer's as a backup.

-For some reason, my one Umbreon prime never gets prized. Well, instead of using seeker to get back Uxie, you can just add another PONT, or 2 to make up for the loss of draw power. I do think Azelf is needed though.

-I agree with you about UnownQ

-Black Belt is iffy for me. I'll have to keep testing it out to see how it works.

-Wow!! That's alot of Pokemon Rescues. I think mabee 2 is fine, but 4 is overkill.

I've got to do some revamping of my own now. I'll post my changes soon so yall can see them.

Aww, you have a boyfriend? :frown: He must be a really good guy then. :smile:

@ForginGeorge: I looked it up in the forums, and PokePop says it wouldn't damage any of your pokemon with Powers, since it's body is still in effect. It does say to do damage, even though there's no number next to it.

My apologies for the misconception, amphy.

The exception to that is when Dialga G lv.X is in play. Then Manectric's body gets shut off and he damages both sides of the field with his attack.

There is nothing wrong with you my eyebrows cant fix *shakes fist*

deck seems like a really fun league contribution! It might even do well against the league rampant ROFL-tron league stomper.

NO EXEGGUTOR DONT DO IT DONT DO IT EXEGGUTOR WHY DONT YOU LOVE ME?

it does damage regardless unless he is on the bench

Apology accepted. I've played with that card for so long, that I know it like the back of my hand.

HE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE ON THE BENCH FOR HIS BODY TO WORK!! :mad: LOOK AT THE CARD MAN!! PLEASE TELL ME WHERE IN HIS BODY DOES IT SAY IT HAS TO BE ON THE BENCH?

Waterfox even went to get the ruling from PokePop saying that his body protects them.

Vanderbelt Grad- Typical of you to bring up Dialga in a situation like this. Who doesn't know that dialga does this? Plus, the deck is well prepared for it anyway.

Yall just love getting me all fired up don't you? It's AmphyTric all over again. :lol:

In addition to what Amphy just said, the Flareon is used to combat Dialga. It'll one-shot it with it's weakness if you use Evolving Flame.

@Amphy: Yup, my boyfriend's been really helpful with helping me trade for the cards I needed and offering advice on how to run the deck. I couldn't take all the credit for the adjustments we made.

I was stratigizing yesterday, and I figured out that I do need more than one Pokemon Rescue. Especially when you go T1 Call for fammily, or Signs of Evolution, then your opponent draws God and goes T2 Machamp, GarchompC (earthquake), etc... When I get them, I'm switching them with some of the things that have ?'s by them. I'll also try to fit in Azelf somewhere in here when I get it too.

I've been playing against this deck a lot lately, and I've noticed a weak point. I was wondering if you've ran into this problem as well, and if so, how you play against it. I was thinking on building this deck myself cause I really like the concept, but Im worried about people getting around Moonlight Fang with the ability to pull out another pokemon from your bench.

With Luxray [GL] LvX still getting a lot of play, and Infernape [4] LvX and warp points seeing a little bit of play as well, how do you fight against people who get around moonlight fang? Do you throw out the prime and just race them to see who can do more damage? Do you throw moonlight fang out the window and start using quick blow? I really want to know how you pump out the damage.

I know your bench gets full pretty fast, and I know you're trying to put in an Azelf into the deck, but do you think a LA Mesprit would be useful as well? Or is that too much clutter on the bench?

If they can get around Moonlight Fang, then I'll just smack them with whatever else that I have. Luxray can kill my Uxie's, but everything else will survive a turn. Garchomp C LVX has to snipe Manetric, so my Eeveelutions are safe from him. Not too many people play with Infrnape anymore. So I don't have to wory about him.

Mespirit would make it too clunky. Plus, it will be a target for Luxray and Garchomp.

Yes you can. Click 'Edit', click 'Advanced', then change title. Just that simple

Ok, I'll try that.

Yay!! It worked. Thanks. :smile:

P.S. I played against a very good Dialga/chomp deck on monday night. It did find a way around Moonlight Fang. If my 2 Eevee's weren't prized I would have done better against him. He kept sniping my lone Eevee, so I couldn't power it up. Getting Dialga G LVX to the bench shut of Manetric's body, so I could not protect him. He was really afraid of my Flareon RR. :lol: (sniping Eevee)

So what I'm saying is that if they work around Moonlight Fang, the other Eeveelutions will cause problems for them. (because I've fixed my prize problem)

Other than that, the deck worked very well yesterday. Got a OHKO with Flareon on Dialga G LVX, stalled with Moonlight Fang, the Prime did some damage etc...
