Vending Machine / Masaki & ANA promos (a few other rare JPN promos)

Currently trying to get my hands on a few of the Vending Machine series cards. I realize that the ones I'm after are pretty rare, but I was just curious as to the worth of...

- Masaki Omastar (The Omastar I'm looking to pick up will also be coming with the card it came with in the mail. )
- Masaki Alakazam
- Masaki Gengar
- Sealed ANA promo pack from 1999 (info below)
- ANA 2001 pack Larvitar and Pikachu (unsealed)
- Nintendo 64 Porygon and Snorlax promos

Also buying a sealed ANA promo pack. You know, the ones they gave away in '99 to people flying ANA in Japan when they mailed in their ticket stubs. It could either contain the Pikachu and Articuno set or the Zapdos and Moltres.

I've been out of the game for a long time, as college and life has gotten in the way. But as usual, my interest has returned just as my time has. :thumb:

Thanks.

Also, I tried searching for prices but what I found was old and I'm looking for some more recent ideas on the prices.

I saw all of those on eBay, the Masaki promos usually sell between between $15 to $30, the Omastar will probably go for more since it is with the certificate. I saw the ANA Pikachu and Articuno sell for $48 a couple days ago but I've seen them go for less, like $25 or so. I'm not too sure about the ANA Pikachu and Larvitar. The Porygon and Snorlax have lost value due to the release of a Pokemon CD which contained a reprint of these promos. If they are sealed in the orignial folder than they are probably worth about $25. Unsealed you can find those cards for a couple bucks each.

You would do very very well to find the N64 cards sealed or in the original folder for 25 bucks.

I sold 2 recently for 75 pounds each.

Masaki promos dont usually sell $15-30 there are some auctions that go unnoticed that sell at outrageous prices like that. The average I would say for a masaki card is $50, in my opinion they should be much higher especially if they come with the original paperwork. The gengar and alakazam are the rarest masaki cards followed by the omastar, so no 15-30 is a price someone who would want them would say so they could get them cheap.

The anas are about the price that shpunto said, but the n64 cards are way off.

Urgh, so it was you people who were bidding on the same auctions as me :D

The Masaki promos are worth a lot, as Scott says, but for some reason a lot have been underselling recently... Don't understand it. These went for a reasonable price (but still cheap IMO) - The Omastar with the paperwork went for around £23 I believe...

I went well over the odds for the ANA sealed cards (Pikachu + Articuno I'm hoping), but someone on those auctions was pushing prices way up... Lucky stadiums for $10 each?!?! Come on! Someone also paid well over the odds for some of the Coro Coro cards as well.

Very strange auction - the trainer mag promos went for cheap compared to these, I snapped them up for a bargain!
