Could someone tell me if, in the past, there's been vendors or w/e at grinders/worlds where you can buy sleeves/plushies/deck boxes etc.? Thanks in advance.

No, the only "Vendor" at Worlds is Nintendo/Pokemon USA they do have a store to sell Pokemon stuff, but I do not remember sleeves ever being for sale.

In 2005 in San Diego at Worlds, Shuffle and Cut had a 10'x20' space selling everything Pokemon. packs, boxes, sleeves, deck boxes, binders, shirts, hats, stuffed dolls, you name it. They were busy open to close.

In 2006 in Anaheim, POP/PUI ran a more limited in scope sales area.

In 2007 in Kona, POP/PUI's sales area seemed as busy or busier than Anaheim - with fewer attendees.

In 2008 in Orlando, POP/PUI is bringing in the cool Pokemon 151 shirts from Japan and selling them for just $9.95 each! No, I'm just kidding. I'm sure there will be a sales area again, but bring your own sleeves just in case (cards too).

I am guessing you are looking for japanese items?

There will be players who bring that. Myself included. (maybe, dunno if i want to carry it around...)

I knew to bring my own stuff already, Adroptres pretty much hit the nail on the head so thanks for the info. people.

We are determining now if we can make it to Worlds.... but if we are, look us up!

Cool, I'll make sure to stop by both of your guys' stands or however you're selling stuff, I've been saving my money for this and I want ot make sure I get some cool stuff.

In '06 and '07 the Pokemon Center was selling stuff. Now that the Pokemon Center has closed, I don't know what will be there.

Japan has a lot of really cool stuff, but most of it is marked not for sale outside of Japan.

oh yeah, i bought last year in Hawaii a nice piplup pokedoll.
I'd love to buy a different one. The rest i dont care about poke-themed stuff, but i'd be glad buying some sleeves (yeah, the ultra-pro). They cost here like $8 for 50 sleeves, so i can buy some extra to use the whole season until next worlds

I will be there, with my JPN items for trade all weekend. :thumb:

Drew

Before i can say it he chimes in. Drew the Japanese vendor will be there.

Beyond that if its like 04 there will be maybe 1-2 vendors allowed in besides the Pokemon USA booth which is always there. If not like 2 years ago there will be 1 booth open that Pokemon USA runs during the event.
