Victini Wi-Fi Event for ‘Black’ and ‘White’

Sunday, February 6th, 2011 @ 7 AM PST -

Upon the March 6th release of Black and White, players will be able to download the Liberty Pass via Wi-Fi until April 10th. The Liberty Pass allows you to travel to Liberty Garden Island where you can encounter and capture a Level 15 Victini.

Yeah I saw that and I thought that was cool, wasn't the yellow forest released at the same time as HGSS. I thank it's cool that they are doing events right when the games are released because some times it can help. I know with the yellow forest I went and got me a good Pika and used it to get passed the first GL in HG. I still can't what for these games to come out, I have pre-ordered both plus the collecter guild for them :) man by the time I get them I'll be bald lol.
 
Ok, that's perfect. I pre-ordered both anyway cause I want 2 Victini's as well as the
other stuff in each game. Plus I use one for my Main Game and the other for Storing.
 
i couldn't get the event to work for some reason. did anyone else have this problem? i followed the directions exactly, but it wouldnt let me connect to Nintendo WFC. i tried it at my house and even in a Gamestop with the Nintendo WFC hub...help? :[
 
i tried the event but i can't get the ticket i'm at the library i tryed the "Wireless WFC" mode it didn't work i tryed it at mcdonalds it didn't work even a friends house but it didn't work and yes i did use the "Wireless WFC" mode it did not work i guess i have no choice but to wait until the event passes and use a cheat code to get victini or the liberty ticket as much as i don't want to but i have to
 
You have to set up your DS to connect to the specific network you're trying to access. Go to "WFC Connection Settings" or whatever it's called from the B&W title menu, and ask whoever's hosting you what the network is called and whatever other information you need.

I am a little lazy to explain the whole process (and am a little shaky on it myself) but that's generally hte problem I see with people not able to connect to WFC where there's a network.
 
^ most public places that offer wi-fi have a "license agreement" page that you have to accept the terms of use in order to connect on the wi-fi at their location.

Since the DS can not "accept the terms of use" - it will not connect to the NWFC-
You need to find a place that has an "open signal" without any restrictions ( like password protected) in order to use the wi-fi and to be able to "log on " to download off the NWFC.
Try a public library- it is the most easily wi-fi accessable around as it has an open signal- at least the library in my city does....

I think I will ask a question with a different thread as to if the download can be transfered from another person via the infered link.......
going to do that now.....
