STRATEGY: The main strategy of this deck is to lock trainers from the beginning with Spiritomb and Vileplume while setting up a Gengar. When it is ready, retreat Spiritomb and Poltergiest for a lot of damage.

You could use lookers investigation to see how much damage poltergeist would be doing and disrupt their hand.

 

[COOL TRAINER D]

if you're going to run so much trainer lock, don't run any trainer cards. They will slow you down. Especially 2 rare candies, that is inconsistent and you will never get them when you need them. You will only get them after Vileplume is up, leaving you with dead cards in your hand.

Actually, there's some merit to running them, but they can kind of hurt in the mirror. I run Luxury Ball in mine to be safe. The extra consistency is always a bonus.

Not sure about mirror matches.

Dialga G, just get set up as fast as physically possible, Poltergeist their Dialga Gs into oblivion. You have Level Down.

For dialga G...I run, 1 ponyta, and 1 (wild guard) Rapidash. awesome combo and i get it out every game.
