Yes, I call this deck VileKiss because it attacks with Togekiss rather than Darkrai or Weavile DP.
So this variant of my Dark Pulse deck should be intresting in the new MD format.
I do need help though, since I just made this deck without being able to play test it yet.

---------
Pokemon
---------
2 Darkrai Sleep Hole
2 Darkrai lv.X
4-3 Weavile SW
3-1-3 Togekiss GE

Total: 18 Pokemon

---------
Trainers
---------
1 Scott
1 Island Hermit
1 Windstorm
3 Rare Candy
3 Master Ball
1 Bebe's Search
2 Night Maintenance
2 Roseanne's
2 Celio's
2 Prof Oak's
2 Crystal Beach
2 Drake's Stadium

Total: 22

-------
Energy
-------
4 Special :dark:
16 Basic :dark:

Strategy:
-Ideal would be to start with Sneasel and get out Weavile and Toge-line asap.
-If you are able to, then Darkness Charge the Togepi's with Special :dark: while getting and evolving it into Togekiss.
-By evolving into Togekiss, you can rain down energy onto other Benched Pokemon.
-Get Togekiss active and Dark Engage it to deal a standard 60 to 80 damage minimum without having Darkrai lv.X in play.

Well weavile doesnt make much sense here. He just takes away your chance of getting energy with serene grace. I know you have 20 but seriously you dont need 2 lines that accelerate energy.

............. I'll repeat what I wrote in the strategy. Weavile HAS purpose.

I just can't figure out what the Weavile line does here...................................

I would play 2-2 Weavile and play some starter possibly Pachirisu.

My trainer line would be something like this

4 Bebe's/Celio's
4 POV
2 Night Maintenance
2 Crystal Beach
2 Roseanne's
1 Windstorm
3 Rare Candy
2 Master Ball
2 Warp Point

this deck would annihlate... if the special darkness energies worked on togekiss. it only works on dark type pokemon.

that means now you are more reliant on getting darkrai lv X out now and you should shove some priemier balls in there

*Sarcastic* I am really wondering what Dark Engage does.........

I play tested the deck yesterday and it completley sweeps G&G from the table.
Sadly, it's the only archtype being played at my league so I don't know how it will do against others, but it is a killer.

I really like this idea, a lot. Since most of the time you should be Dark Engaging on Togekiss, Drake's is not going to do you a whole lot of good... I'd recommend some combination of Sidney's and Moonlight instead. Sidney's may not be all that useful, depending on your metagame, but Moonlight will make it a lot easier to get Darkrai into the active spot, leveled up, and back out. Most G&G builds already run Moonlight or Phoebe's, so you probably aren't going to be helping them too much by running it. You might also consider one more Windstorm as additional protection against Cessation Crystal and Battle Frontier.

I like the Pokemon lines as-is (except maybe add one more Weavile), but there is the slight problem that you only get a Sneasel start 57% of the time. Just out of curiosity, what's the strategy for a Togepi or Darkrai start?

For just 1 (C), Darkrai can force a switch and it's entirly up to you to send the Defending Pokemon to the Bench! This can really annoy some starts that need to attack and it really hurts opponents with a bad start. Go Darkrai!

Togepi is sadly just a sitting duck and that is why you need to get others out asap. It has a little good point in Find a Friend. The flip is the bad side but fishing for any Pokemon is really not bad.
And thank you for liking this idea. It took a while to actually think of it, but it really does work surprisingly well.

You only need 17 basic dark and take out the specials

Play pokemon line like

2-2 claydol
4 pachi
1-1 darkrai
1-1 wevile
4-2-4 kiss

That is the way someone I know played it and did very well with it almost winning a state championship.

The MD Darkrai is rather meh. The auto-sleep as you call it, is a once per game thing. Plus, since sleep is easily cured by flipping a coin, it's not the best Special Condition to inflict.

The Special Dark are in there because it saves a few turns to get Darkrai lv.X in play. Togekiss can still have boosted attack without relying on Darkrai lv.X. This is a crucial strategy since it can hit quite hard T3/T4.

The fact that I still have that many Basic Energy is because of Serene Grace and the lack of free retreat.
I can retreat all Pokemon easy without having to worry about having an Energy shortage or having Moonlight Stadium in play. It also increases the chance of getting Benched Pokemon battle ready.
And you really don't HAVE to get all the energy you find through Serene Grace.

OHHHH LOL i get it i am sorry i doubted this. i playtested it against my deck and i didn't draw a single prize on it. its very good at sweeping hard and fast

As much as that would be the normal thing to do with a main attacker, it's not really needed with this strategy.
There is a ridiculously small chance of all being prized and since it can hit hard and sweep fast, you can quickly filter your prizes. Island Hermit helps here to with flipping prizes.

If Togepi/kiss does happen to be prized, there is always Darkrai to count on. That should take enough time to KO 1 or 2 Pokemon and thus letting you get the prizes you need so badly.

I testplayed it against a Garch/Scizor deck yesterday and it seems that it is the only worthy advisary. Being both Colorless, Drake's Stadium works against you while attacking with or without Dark Engage, while it also defends you from Garch's insane Poke-Body. It really came down to who'm topdecks the best cards first.

Today I tested it again 3 times and managed to get 0 god hands which is so important in this deck.
Now, I have been thinking....I realy could use more draw power while I sat with just 3 cards in my hand that had 0 use.

So I got busy thinking about what to change about the problem and this is what I came up with.

4-3 Weavile SW
4-2-4 Kiss
2-2 SH Darkrai and lv.X

3 Night Maintenance
2 Crystal Beach
2 Drake's Stadium
1 Windstorm
4 Rare Candy
2 Celio's
4 POV
3 Bill's Maintenance

14 Basic :dark:
4 Special :dark:

Now I have caught myself on thinking to make it more geared towards beating Garch and thought about adding stuff like Cess Crystal and Lake Boundary. But with the horrible attacker that is Togekiss it really does not matter much if you can't increase the damage. That is why I put iin so many card pulling Supporters. Chances are that I'll always get something usefull.

I have been wondering what could still be changed. 3 Night Maintenance might seem like much. If it is, what can I put in that 1 spot? Would TSD be usefull here?

I am definatley taking this deck with me tommorow to the Dutch Championships. I don't care if people read this. It's stupid to build a deck to defeat just 1 particular deck.
