To Players attending Warrenton CC tomorrow. Please bring a folding chair if possible. Depending on the turnout, we be short 10 - 15 chairs for players. Thank you. If you have questions, call me at 703-887-7586. I am without a computer connection at home.

I'm not staff this time but I would guess no.

For one thing, no one wants people dragging chairs around at the start of every round. Would you want to be trying to get to your seat and suddenly some kid is trying to wrestle a chair between rows of tables? Second, if you would be on the floor otherwise, chances are your opponent would be, too. And that's not good for a couple of reasons. Sitting in a chair while the game is on the floor doesn't seem like it would be much more comfortable, and you'd have an awfully nice view from up there of things like your opponent's hand.

So yeah, I wouldn't count on it. Of course, it would be courteous to bring a chair anyway, as well as still increasing your chance to sit in one, just less directly.

Also, didn't you ask the same question last year?

Preregistration is certainly becoming the way to go! A reminder that this SUNDAY's event in Harrisonburg is also a prereg event. The store asks that an email be sent to [email protected] and let them know that you plan on being there!
 
I'd be remiss if I didn't give MAD PROPS to Tim F. for the job he's doing keeping the VirginiaPokemon website current. The website is dependable, accurate, and continually updated. He's really doing a bang up job over there.

I'd also agree with Nate's sig that he' probably the most underrated player in VA. I suppose he's gotta beat Johnny in a few head's up finals before he can stake a claim at an Elite status ;)

...and beat on me, they did! Back to the PTO slot for this Saturday's event in beautiful downtown Lakeside, Richmond, VA at Collector's Heaven. Hope to see all the non-marathon travelers Saturday!
 
Anybody happen to know if Richmond is full? We (my son in juniors and myself in masters) are suddenly able to go, but with the 2.5-hour drive involved, I'm trying to decide if it makes sense or not without a confirmation.

Well, we decided to go to the Richmond cities and I'm glad we did. We had to go on standby, but they managed to get us in. THANKS! My son had a great time. And me too. :) Very well run, like all of David's events. Thanks again.
