It would be great, but still hurts. Really banking on that last cities. Bring it to Lynchburg, I'll rent out an entire building for it! I wish we had a shop that wasn't junk or was owned by magic players Posted with Mobile style...

This place that canceled isn't the same place we played last cities is it? Posted with Mobile style...
I'm working as fast as I can... And yes, Cullen, it was the same place last cities was held here.....and the owners here are more into Magic and Yu-go-oh than into Pokemon....
Pretty much any facility that is open to the public works. The marathon folks have been wonderfully creative with their venues. But, as Crazar has said, I'll post good news tomorrow. It looks like we do have a new venue in Harrisonburg thanks to the Angersteins!
It was SO GOOD to sit at a table as a player again.
Warrenton today = 6 rounds .... top cut to 8 (Masters)
Let me tell you something.
I played 6 rounds and absolutely enjoyed every opponent.
Everyone I played was jovial, friendly, and good spirited. That was a much needed episode of unexpected pleasantry.
I hope that my opponents enjoyed my company as much as I enjoyed theirs.
PROPS:
Record-breaking attendance at Warrenton.
Luke Reed taking me aside and giving me tips on better ways to play my deck ( that was priceless and much appreciated man.. thanks!)
Michael Pramawat seeing me miss my "always going to time" in round 6 by 10 seconds and telling me "you should've slow rolled it by freezing like you had a spontaneous seizure... and when time was called, hold up your arms and celebrate making-it-to-time as being a Personal Triumph!" (ahahahahahahahhahahahaaAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!)
ALMOST getting matched up vs. Helen (whom I haven't gotten to play against since Legend's Awakened was released ...)
Meeting another great PokeDad in round 4 (Steven?)
David keepin' it cracka-lackin' even with the wall-to-wall attendance.
The judges doing their thing without any issues (that were noticable).
The Warrenton Location (Panera, Chipotle, Tropical SMoothie.. OH MY!)
The gorgeous sunny 66 degree weather in JANUARY ??!?! (HOLLA!)
FINALLY GETTING TO PLAY in a premier tournament (that wasn't a pre-release).
SLOPS:
Tails .... Tails ... Tails ... (junk arm) ... Tails... (Junk Arm) .. tails... r e a l l y ?
I expected 40-45 players today, so needless to say I was thrilled at the turnout of 61!! RA, you are completely correct about this great player base.. Due to the holidays, it had been several weeks since I've run a CC. It is such a blast (kara) to get back into the swing of things and run events for such an amazing group of players! You guys rock! Thanks for the gift, too, guys. It means the world to me that I am appreciated! :thumb:
Bryan Z (Chandy Beach) in masters. Thanks to everyone for coming out!! I've never had two back to back 60+ City Championships, and it was AWESOME!! A Big thanks to the Angersteins for setting up this final CC venue, and Marthe for filling in for Tim who was going to fill in for Marthe... (yeah, it's confusing)
