Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Virginia's Spring 09 Battle Road Schedule

In 3 different colors with added bonus features and expansion packs

Thanks. That was MAD funny and made my day

LOL, WOW, Arron was not prepared for that Metagame...

Sounds like somebody might start to play [DEL] *card that shall not be named * [/DEL]...

SHHHHHHHHH!!!

Woot wah woot! Won my first event ever!
^ GJ! :thumb: That makes two of us!

I have a feeling ... these won't be the last wins for you two.

NATS is coming up and I find myself preparing for Fall BRs 09 ... :/
something's seriously off there... lol

Side note.. .VA repeed well at LUSBY MD yesterday..
Top cut was beast ... Luke, Mike Pram, Garch (kenton), Geoffrey?
I wonder who took that?

Strong competition up there man... but... next time, we're opting for VA over Md event..
just like 'em better.

I had alot of fun. Chances of me going to nats are over 90%. Just gotta book me a hotel. Can't wait to go though I'll have to pay alot for cab fare. 17 miles = big bucks = happy cabbies.

Also congrats to the winners and also to Jacob who somehow won with a deck he threw together while waiting for the store to open. The funny part is that his deck contained 0 count'em 0 night maintenance.

Jacob ran a Champ/Gengar varient, I ran stright Champ, Jake ran Drill, Johhny ran Dialga G X (not sure since I didn't play him).

Will you be at Nats?

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

@ G.O. Yup, that's Dave!

Big news so far. Angelica W is undefeated (4-0) including a victory against Arron S !!!

It's official in Seniors:
Angelica over Arron in 2
Way to go, Angelica!!!!!

In Juniors:
Alex F over Joseph M in 3
Good job, Alex!!

..and in Masters:
Kenton A over Sonivette W in 3
Kenton's moving to Hawaii!! :frown::frown:
but he's leaving us as a Champion! Best of Luck, Kenton. May Garchomp always have your back!

Congrats to the winners. Angelica and Kenton in particular had great deck choices for the day and then took care of business in the tournament.

Kenton, we'll see you at league, but are you going to Nats?

I'll be at nats. :thumb:

I just realized... That BR will be my last event in VA... Hopefully I can come back some time after I move back to the US.

Yes, I will be, and I have a "cool" sounding story to go with it.

For a while there, I didn't think I was going to be able to go, but my mom found a rediscovered $1000 bank account in Connecticut a week ago with my name on it, and she needs to transfer it to her account (Now doesn't that sound like a scam email? I'll just need to transfer this money overseas to feed my children!).

I'm flying, I believe that Josh is flying, and the others from Richmond will be headed out I-64. I really hope to see a lot of you there. VA is often not mentioned in the top tier states, and this would be a great year to "put us on the map!!"

WALMART sells everything... do they sell top cut ?

Yeah. But it's really expensive. You'd be better off buying a bye and some donks. It's cheaper that way.

And RA... VA events are NOTORIOUSLY better.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the only MD events you've ever gone to been in Lusby and Glen Burnie, an area with a completely different PTO and staff? It hardly seems reasonable for you to criticize the Rockville events completely based on hearsay.

Yeah, I hope you can come back sometime. Annoying or not, I gotta respect how you flat-out refused to play anything except your favorite Pokemon for so long.

Are most people planning on going to National via airplane or car here in VA?

Not sure whether I count or not, but if I'm able to go, definitely driving.

congrats to the winners and lol on no matince see you at nats

Who's Matince?

@Ascension, my group (me, Leah, Javier, and Aaron) plan to drive. According to my people, St. Louis is closer to us than Orlando was so it will be a shorter drive.

@charchar: if you need help planning, please let somebody know asap so they can coordinate with you.

I prefer to stay off the map. :thumb:

The Rockville RR prerelease has not yet been reported...

Oh no, I didn't mean that as severely as it sounds, I'm mostly just poking fun at MD:tongue:. Their events aren't that bad at all, I just prefer VA events like 500%.
