@czech59 well to be honest "several hundred" is a pretty bad amount to ship, I mean it all depends what you care about getting out of it. If several hundred is 400 cards total, you can get away with a small flat rate box or flat rate padded bubble mailer envelope (usually have to order online, usually not in post offices). If several hundred is 1000 and a lot of non commons, you will probably get your money's worth, at that point you have to ship medium flat rate box (works up to about 4200 cards easy). 500-700 is an uncomfortable range to ship versus the other numbers.
Using rubber bands is very acceptable on commons & rares, on holos it can leave a permanent imprint which is why I stress wrapping those in paper instead. A stack of anywhere from 100-200 cards is going to be very strong, you can pull either of those off easily with rubber bands or paper.
