this is my wailord ex deck that i played yesterday in the SD gym challenge and got 2nd any suggestions

4x wailmer
2x wailord
3x wailord ex
4x elekid(gathere energy
2x mareep
2x flaaffy
2x Ampharos(Energy Connect)

Trainer
1x crystal shard
3x Pokmon Fan Club
3x Baloon Berry
3x Switch
4x Pokemon Nurse
3x PTEM
2x CopyCat
2x POR
1x Town Volunteers
2x Oracle

Energys
7x lighting
10 Water
 
ever thought about kingdra? kingdra can take a hit from blex... it'll still die to magneton... as you of experienced...many times...

i dont think this deck will work is because ur depending on way too many trainers at a time...

Yes, yes. Since it will move _any_ energy, while Kingdra just moves H2O, plus 40 or 80 doubled is a great attack vs. most H20 PKMN. Hrm hrm.

You could try to tech in like meditite or something, but Magneton is just too cheap (2 for 10x their nrg). You've got him in 1 hit w/ DwinWave most times, you just have to get at him! Hmm.

No room for pKMN reversal that's 4 to make 2...usually.

Maybe TRY it in casual play with sub 1 cyclone nrg to both energy colors and fit in two warps by cutting a Nurse & a PFC or . That gives you 4 defender changes _and_ adds to the switching. Mrs. bulbasnore will soon have some Mags in her Flygon deck. Maybe she'll give you a run at league (starts Jun 7).
 
i think he should stick with elekid i have been playing lanturn in my Wex deck i just played it at the Oklahoma gym challenge. Elekid is better since u get to search your deck and then attach it is much faster . :D :pokeball:

You play 6 switching cards (Ballon/Switch). How about dropping most of them, and use a slim Dragonite line (the one that gives your active free retreat with it's poke power) Then you can go 2-1-2 on Ampharos and 2-1-2 on Dragonite and use 3-4 Rare Candies. Those Wex'es & Nurses will help you stall for as long as you need to build up... Plus then you can go Lanettes Net Search instead of Pokemon Fan Club, and get one more basic each time...

This is off the top of my head, so it might be a bad idea... but it is an idea at least...

Replacing a Nurse with a Mr Briney will help you free up space on your bench + it can work well with Wailord, since you're fast back on track with it after you've picked it up.

I know, I wasn't thinking on using it on him... mostly on those elekids you've managed to retreat before they're slaughtered... and on Wailord and Ampharos if needed....
 
Hey, you don't need to change your deck, it is already great! Hey, it beat me three times in a row, and my Garde should have decimated that stupid whale in the San Diego Finals! Oh well. (I really don't need comments on this!) Anyways, great deck! (You might want to add in a Steven's Advice or two. Maybe take out a copycat and POR or the 2 oracle)
Oh, by the way, I'm that idiot in the black vest with the glowing Gengar eye thing!
