I don't think it really goes for that high, $35 -$50 is a more reasonable range for this card along with Lugia EX. Charizard EX ... now that is the $100 card. (Is happy that he somehow managed to get a minty fresh Wailord EX for a mere $10) :biggrin:
 
it worth $35 on avg. *is happy that traded a damaged played politoed ex for it was such a piece of cake*
 
Little kids like big numbers on their cards. That's probably why. That and the parents are willing to pay whatever to get them for their kids.

Little kids want it. People are trading them, then sell them for good $$$.

It's like Lugia ex and Char ex (worth $90+ though), big numbers sell.
 
Not quite worth upwards of $100, but about $45. As stated before, big numbers sell! I have actually sold two Wailord ex myself! I sold the first for about $42 and the second with a World Championship Lugia ex and got $71.
