Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

wailord

Try to fit some rare candies in there...
or another BTS...
That feraligatr is crucial for your set up.
If you dont get it set up, you will spend 5 turns attaching energies... :(
maybe 1 warp and 1 crocnaw??
I think that would be a nice list :)

so a little more like that then?

4 spiritomb
2-1-2 gatr prime
3-3 wailord
2-1 uxie lvx
1-1-1 nidoqueen
/21 poke

10 water
2 warp energy
/12 energy

3 collector
3 bebe
3 communication
2 pont
2 dawn
2 bts
2 candies
2 ebelt
4 ssu
1 palmers
1 luxury
2 fisherman
/27 trainer

anyone else have some input?

lucian?
shaymin ul?
anybody?
run ssu blissey and warp nrg
and then just be like LOOLOLOLOLOL imma whale.
with shaymin you could do decently
hunter would be solid too

thanks for the suggestions but i dont think that those would help me much. i could definately use hunter but the other cards are prolly just gonna get in the way and slow me down. i think the list i last posted is looking pretty good but i agree it could prolly use a couple hunters

its certainly an option, and i think thats along the same lines as what vicious was talking about. but again it kinda strays from the consistency of the deck i think. i just think that it clogs up my bench, pokemon lines, and is an unneeded tool. but i can always test it.

i really like the idea of this deck.
it's a pretty nice tanking card.

Feraligatr is a must though,

1-1 Brozong SF might help aswell to constantly have atleast two energy.

i kinda want Golduck to do good, since i love him..

Golduck - Water - HP 90
Stage 1 - Evolves from Psyduck

Poke-Body: Damp
Whenever you attach a Water Energy card from your hand to this Pokemon, this Pokemon recovers 20 HP.

[W][C] Powerful Splash: Does 30 damage plus an additional 10 damage times the total number of Water Energy attached to your Pokemon.

Weakness: Lightning (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

Could be a nice tank with SSU, and Feraligatr.

ON TOPIC:

- 1 Communication
- 1 Dawn/BTS

+ 1-1 Brozong SF

Hey,

I think the new wailord would be awesome lol. Cant wait to try him when he comes out.

I think that you can run a 1-1-1 or a 1-0-1(with candies) politoed line. Politoed is a totally under-rated pokemon. His poke-power helps with ur massive retreat costs, which would prove a prob against status decks if you meet them. More-over he can dbl up as a secondary attacker, dealing an average of 90, with up to 180 assuming ur bench is full. I think you can take out a spiritomb or 2 since they are only useful at the start.

Also, the nidoqueen line really seems out of place in your deck. Without any multi/rainbow, your nidoqueen can only sit on the bench, I think you can drop the nidoqueen and run a 4-4 wailord line with more poke-comm and maybe elm's.

Another thing is energy, your only source of energy is bronzong which means that you are going to have a hell of a time setting up, putting a wailord up, a feli up AND a bronzong up.

I suggest dropping a fisherman for interviewers and maybe running more energy in your deck. Also, maybe you shld up your no. of energy cards since your deck is running quite energy intensive pokemon, feli with 4, wailord with 4 also.

An ideal no. of energy shld be able to power up your main attacker 4 times with a few to spare, so maybe u can consider running arnd 17 energy, maybe a few cyclone to prevent your opponent from setting up on the bench and ur deck lack snipers.

i like the idea of politoed but i think queen helps the deck more with the healing. i wouldnt mind adding a bit more energy for consistency. i may think about taking out the queen line for another energy and bronzong but i really like the passive healing.

BTS and Blissey help this deck more than Queen..

Play it like steelix, get something big out, E-belt it, then swing, over and over and over again.

Sableye start could be better, Spiritomb could help getting gatr out quicker though.
whichever start, play 4 for a better chance to start with it.

Floatzel X is a terrible tech in this deck.
everything has god awful retreat so hey, why not throw in a card that rarely ever helps and needs to be active to work..

Floatzel X is a tech that people who have not playtested it suggest, it becomes target for brightlooks and other disruption.

Keep fisherman since if your Active Wailord get's KO'd you can be hitting the next turn with Gatr and a bench wailord in play..

The target to bright look? Waillord is week to electric so there's a problem right there. He hase two warp energy and to warp point's in here so it sounds good to have floatzel in here.

it doesn't work in Blastgatr, it wont work in here..
and warp energy and warp points are searchable.... [sarcasim]

Why would they KO the wailord when they can bright look something that helps you recover, he would brightlook Floatzel, OHKO it, the get hit by wailord and survive, unless E-belted, then Poketurn back to hand..

Good try though. :thumb:

I disagree on using Candy. Much of the field are trainer locking, BTS-running decks. I'd take those out for a Croc and a PONT if you're worried about metagaming.
