As far as I understand it Top Cuts have been removed from Battle Roads. So swiss will detemine the winner just like a Prerelease. I believe this is only applying to Battle Roads at this time so I am assuming that Cities will be still allowed a top cut this year.

Do any of these events have pre-reg or have a hard cap? I'm from BC and the last time we came down we were told that there was a hard cap/pre-reg so just making sure..

I'm hoping an official announcement about the 2012-2013 season will come out once the celebration from the World Championships is over.

My prediction is it will be posted on Pokemon.com on August 21.

I dont know how other Judges are going to handle this situation, but I am planning to deck check the top tables the final round.
