Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Washington State Championship March 8, 2008

I could name probably 24 other players or so that could do what he did during CCs/BRs if they had that many events to go to boost their rating, but that's still great company. Underrated? By whom?

By you, apparently.

The thing is, those 24 you would name are probably "big name players". Paul performs at a high level with a remarkable degree of consistency in an area with a lot of good competition, yet he wouldn't come to many peoples' minds as an elite player - not like those 24 you had in mind. I recognize that he has a lot of chances to play, but the fact that he capitalizes so well on those chances in the Washington metagame makes him a standout in my book.

Not an attack on you or on other great players, Chad; just my opinion. =)

Your not insinuating that Paul is this years version of Flaming Spinach are you?!?!?

Paul didn't go to Idaho, oh wait, Ross already said that.

At least I can make up for him beating me at every tournament by destroying him at halo =D

i am most scared of paul out of everyone come regionals time since i can beat ross at sudden death! ;P LOL, yeah paul is amazing. except for playing ambush at the GRINDER!!! >_<'; paul, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!?!?!??!?!

I didn't expect to read an argument about me. ;D Tyler, I thought that Ambush was a good play at grinder because it did well in testing after nationals, especially with everyone knowing about it since then. Matt, I agree with what you said about Halo. Wooper, Jeff, Chad, Ross and Tyler, thanks for the comments!

I swear, I WILL NOT LOSE TO TYLER IN SUDDEN DEATH AT REGIONALS THIS YEAR! I might go 0-7, but I WON'T LOSE TO TYLER IN SUDDEN DEATH FOR A THIRD STRAIGHT YEAR. That is all.

I'm confused. What does it mean when your pokemon is upside down?

Are you talking about Paul J. or Paul N.? (KG's dad.)

Either way, I've found a way to avoid loosing to either one of them at States, Regionals and Nationals...

Wait, so to avoid losing to tyler again, Ross is going to intentionally lose?

Don't be silly, Ross will just get paired in Round 1 vs Tyler, and of course time will be called when it Tyler's turn and it will be 1-1 in prizes. Tyler will top deck and attach a double rainbow energy to his active Magmortar X with 110 damage on it and two fire energy and snipe a benched pokemon for 90 and the win.

After all it is REGIONALS, of couse latter durring Spring Battle Roads Ross will go 5-0 vs Tyler and 4-1 vs Paul J.

Scizors Top 25 dose not come with Worlds invites, you are in a much better top 25....Still why did you drop at Washington States? I got my revenge against Lindsey, but you left before I got another shot at you.

i had math homework i had to do. i wanted to finish it before i left so i could ask david any questions I might have had before I had to go.

don't worry, i don't plan on dropping from regionals!

Actually, dude, ross is right, you did say you didn't want to lose, THEN you whipped out your math textbook.
