Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Washington State Championships March 19, 2011

Registration last year started at 8:30 as well. We have to be out by midnight, which means we need an early start.

And staff may be reporting as early as 6 AM. Enjoy your beauty sleep.

I lol'd.

Yeah, looking forwards to this. I'm prolly confirmed for it!

First states ever for me!

So, some further information that is important to all, most especially those with little ones,.......there is to be NO outside food or drink. The Convention Center has informed us that there will be a food place open inside and there are other eating places around the area. Also, as there was in Seattle last year, there is a parking fee, unless you want to park faraway and shuttle in.
Really these things are no big deal and to be expected. I just felt like people needed the information up front for planning purposes. Personally, I need as much time as possible when it comes to planning for anything dealing with money.
Hope this info helps! Any other helpful information will be posted in the coming weeks.

There is MOST LIKELY a family event going on the weekend of the 19th such that I can't go.

Bummer guys =\

Looks like this is the week before tech week, so assuming I have found my crew in time, I should be making the trip up!

Kayle, I can't believe you, putting family above Pokemon?!?!??! Man where are your priorities?

To be fair, it's a once-a-season murder mystery. I will have already been to a States tournament.

And if you really just can't stand to be without me, in exchange, I promise I am going to Regionals.

Well techically no you will have not. BC is a Provincials not a States.

Restaurants: Tulley's Coffee, Emerald City Smoothies, Taco Del Mar, Subway withing 5-6 blocks.

I used to be a student at UWT, so I know the area well. There some other restaurants at the end of the block of Taco Del Mar and Subway like a pizza place which I forget its name. Its been over a year since I've been there. There is also a starbucks near the UW Bookstore if you need some coffee.

You can get easy transportation from the convention center to your restaurant destinations if you take the light rail. You don't have to pay fare. Also, there is a food court at Tacoma Dome Station northbound on So 25th which is right across the street as you get off.

Hope this helps.
