Burien City Tournament - Jan. 5,2008

Just a few notes for this tournament:

Your judge support for this event will be David and Nikki Nelson.

Parking is limited, so you might have to park at Grocery Outlet and walk across street.

A little short on chairs, so if you could bring a folding chair, that would be great.

Hope to see you there!

EDIT: Good thing I didn't go to the tourney on Saturday...I probobly would have broken something or scared all the little kids based on the different momentum shifts that happened during the Hawks game....bring on the Packers.

Citys were AWSOME in Washington

I want to thank everyone who hosted a City Championship and or Helped out in running one this year.
They were a blast as I had s ton of fun in each one I played in. I can hardly believe that citys are over now, there were lots of good decks (Mostly Gallade or Magmortar) and it will be interesting to see how the Metagame changes prior to States.

Good luck to all in the coming year.

Whew! Talk about going out with a bang - two tournaments pushing sixty players - in stores that started the day set up for about 48 or so. Thanks everyone for enduring the crowded conditions!

(The curse of the first holds out - the #1 seed after swiss never won a Cities with a top 4 cut. Ross and Paul both went undefeated at a Cities, but the cut was to the top 2.)
