If you have a lighting type Pokemon on your field, inbetween turns place one damage counter on each of your opponents Pokemon inbetween turns.

:ppowr: Strike

Once during your turn, if one of your Pokemon attacks, you may use this power. Flip a coin, if heads, place a strike counter on your opponents active Pokemon. If a Pokemon with a strike counter attacks, that Pokemon is now knocked out (after applying the attack.)

With Yanmega Prime being able to snipe Magikarp (and others too), along with Pokemon Catcher on it's weak 30hp I don't think so. Also, your opponent would have to setup a Feraligatr (without a Pokemon Catcher being used on it), Magikarp, and five water energy cards. Which when you look it at like that, isn't a good card. Thanks!

Cant you just hold Magikarp in hand. Drop it drop 5 energy take 2 prizes rinse and repeat?

If you did get Feraligatr setup (without them dragging it out with Pokemon Catcher), five water energy cards, and a Magikarp (which they will without a doubt return KO) all avoiding Judge (which is pretty much a staple at the moment) then you'd maybe see just how average this card is. If you count the fact that Magikarp is going to die on the opponents turn, you're just getting one prize... One prize which isn't even your choice, and one prize which took all of that effort to setup.

Don't think in terms of prizes, think in terms of field clearance. With Seeker and repeated Hyper Beams after setting up Feraligatr, which is possible in this format even with Catcher (I'll Collector for 2 Totodiles and a Golden Magikarp), you can wipe their field over the course of a few turns and win.

Nobody has a problem with Politoed's :pbody:? Eh, whatever. Not that big a deal.
