Waterfall - A Gatr deck
OK, so i think this could be pretty good:

Pokemon: 21

4-3-4 Gatr MT

4-4 Delcatty PK

1-1 Magneton PK

Trainers: 22

4 Holon Mentor
4 Celios
3 Rare Candy
2 Team G's Wager
2 Night Maintenance
3 Windstorm
2 TVR
2 Mr. Stones

Energies: 17

2 DRE
15 Water

Strategy:

Pull NRGs as many NRGs as you can with Delcatty's NRG draw, and attack with Gatr's 1st attack to do massive damage.
Magneton is for getting Discarded NRGs back. I feel 1-1 is enough, since Mr. Stones does the exact same thing, with no drawbacks.
Chingling is just a backup for a bad start. (with Mentor in hand)
Team G's Wager is for distruption, since you can just pull like 6-9 cards again with Delcatty it doesn't matter if you lose or not..

Good enough, Ryan?

I would drop the lone Chingling because your chances of starting with him are so low and you'll put yourself at an energy disadvantage by retreating for him, I don't see how he could make any difference in your setup 9 games out of 10. Might as well also drop either one Delcatty PK or the lone Delcatty EX (the latter isn't even searchable with your current build and you can just night maintenance energies back into your deck rather than putting a vulnerable EX active to recover them.) Also, I would make the Gatr line 4-3-4. Croconaw's power is pretty neat.

So my edits:

-1 Delcatty EX
-1 Chingling
+1 Croconaw
+1 Night Maintenance

Also you might consider trying Steven's Advice over TV Reporter. Most decks will have at least 3 pokemon out at any given time after T2. Why discard a card when you don't absolutely have to? And the possibility of drawing more than three is very nice.

I like you suggestions. List edited.

I will usually have a big hand mid- and lategame, and Steven's will probably not be very good there..?

I agree, you want to have a large hand with lots of energy to work with so Steven's might not be the best play. Also, I really think you should up the Magneton line to 2-2. There's just to good of a chance one of them will be prized if you run a 1-1 line.

Agreed.
I understand the want of 2x Stones, BUT a 2-2 Ton line can work WONDERS more.
I would say drop 1 Night Maintenance and maybe a Stone or sumtin.

GL, I do love Gatr.

Eh, when you play it from your hand, reveal the T5 card from your deck, and take the NRGs.
Something like that..

And don't forget to add the Suicune from DP3 when it comes out... it seems made for the Gatr...

----------------------
Suicune L.44 – Water – HP70
Basic Pokemon

Poke-Power: Aqua Recover
You can use this Power once during your turn, when you play this card from your hand onto your Bench. Choose up to 3 Water Energy cards from your discard pile, show them to your opponent, and put them in your hand.

[W][W][W] Cure Stream: 60 damage. On your opponent’s next turn, any damage done by attacks by the Defending Pokemon is reduced by 20.

Weakness: Lightning (+20)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1
-------------------------------

if your going to add suicune you might as well put in 4 suicunes to get the flow going along with 1 delcatty ex so you can discard the water energies from your hand then put down suicune to get 3 waters back from the discard pile.

No steven's advise IMO, he will have a big hand because of the 4-4 delcatty. TVR.

4-4-4 Gatr
2 Rare Candy.
