Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Webster / Clearlake CC and Regionals Announcement / Jan. 21

IF we could find a venue, could we move the date or even add one? I'm sure many of us would not like to wait until Jan. 7 to compete in a tournament.

We are (and have been) searching for alternate venues. If we could find one that is deemed suitable, we will do everything we can to make it work -- whether it means moving a date or adding one (pending PUI's approval, of course!)

Sunday tournaments

I don't understand why the local tournaments are all on Sunday. Many (of the good players) can't attend due to church. Is there a reason for NOT holding tournaments on Saturday? Hmmmmm.

I second that. I can't do Sunday tournaments for church-oriented reasons as well. It's not a scheduling problem, but a doctrinal issue.

Because the upcoming prerelease tournaments and many of the City tournaments are on Sunday, that means that 3 members of my family, plus another friend, who would have attended will not be able to.

I know it can be hard to find space on Saturdays but I hope every attempt will be made to include some Saturday tournaments in the future.

I didn't mean to alter the theme of this thread. Although the first few CC's are on Sunday, and there are some Saturday tourneys later on, TEAM COOK called me and assured me that he is looking into other venues and dates. I appreciated that and if he is doing his best, then that is fine by me.

In the meantime, that may give us the chance to check out what the competition is up to and counter with BETTER decks. We will see. Good luck to all of those competing!!! :thumb:

Rocketmans visiting!!!
make sure to say hi to TINA!!!
I will come to all Citys In Houston Area if possible.

Alright gang, y'all got less than a month before the first City Championship (Houston).

Are you ready?

Get your head in the game.

Get to league and start playing.

You will need the Delta Species cards, so be sure and make it to the prereleases.

Good Luck.

Great news everyone. The Sugar Land Heroes has given us permission to run the City Championship on December 10th (SATURDAY) instead of Sunday the 11th.

On a lower note, the Conroe City Championship will have to move to January 8th (SUNDAY) from Saturday the 14th.

This will still give the Houston area 2 Saturday events.

We will be submitting the changes to Pokemon in the morning. Hopefully there won't be a problem.

Hope this helps some of our players.

Good Luck.

You are still doing the Houston CC on Nov. 13th? I'm looking forward to it! If you do 2 on the 7th and 8th, we'll come to that as well. I look forward to seeing you Tina!

Hey Rocketman.

Yes, you indeed need a break. Come on over to Texas and play some Pokemon. I've got two tournaments scheduled back to back for Cities ( Jan. 7 & 8 ). This will give you a chance to play twice instead of once, of course. And you should know me by now, I'm looking to end it with a BANG. If everything works my way, look out, lol.

Texas is gonna be the place to be for City Championships.

I know for sure that I will attaend at least 1 of these Cities. Most probably the back-to-back on Jan 7&8 IF nothing else prevents me from attending :thumb:

Sounds like a plan...But I hate to disappoint you, we will not be playing our Main decks since we are not competing for trips or scholarships yet, but are there to see what will work and to have loads of Fun with our southern friends

I wish I could hold you to that ~Blazi-King~. If I could take a City Championship just ONE time....
that is, before I get old.

South Texas

Are you ready?

The Houston City Championships.

Can you handle the truth?

Do you have what it takes?

Show Team Cook what you're made of.

Team Cook is ready to crown 3 City Champions.

Sit there and yell out Pokemon, now louder.

Show me the Pokemon.

Get on the phone and yell at me. Show me the Pokemon.

Then I'll know you're serious.

Check out the first post of this thread for all information regarding the tournament.

If you want to judge, call or pm me. I WILL NOT answer judging request on PokeGym.
