Well this is confusing... Tornadus??

So if I use Hurricane from Tornadus's attacks, what am I supposed to do if I don't have a basic energy to move?

I assume the attack goes through and no energy is moved as it states only basic energy and does not say, "if a basic energy card cannot be moved this attack does nothing."

Am I correct on this?

Right. If you have no Basic energy attached, you still do the damage.
