Werewolf IX (Team Galactic's Plot) ENDGAME AND ANALYSIS!!!!!

Ryu this game is all speculation, with slight clues leading to more speculation.
Lucario ex, Gyarados hasn't made a kill in 3 or 4 nights? I've even given up accusing Time for pain of being Gyarados, i can't back it up any longer without any recent attacks. So in your last demonstration of who/what'll be left after you're lynched is flawed. Gyarados 95% chance wont make a kill...since its prolly already dead...so yes the town still has time to make sure your the seer by lynching you.
Hopfully this slip up of lucario's is enough to convince you of your choise.

Either way the game ends.
There are two outcomes and two choices Ryu can make. Lets look at the chart
A and B are the two outcomes, which ever it is its not in Ryus control
A) He is the seer
B) he isn't the seer
Ryu's choices are
I) Kill Lucario
II) Kill SZ
Now lets combine them.
AI) (Lucario is the seer and Ryu votes him off)
Positives: We know his information is accurate (to some degree) The town still has enough players too vote off the wolf / indis asuming gyarados doesn't kill
Negitives: We killed the seer....so we could have finished a day earlier....
Yes the wolf gets another kill, however that wont effect the rest of the game...so in a way there isnt any.

Positives: The wolf if dead and the town get vote of the independents
Negitives: There isnt any.
BI) Lucario isnt the seer and Ryu votes for him
Positives: Ryu just saved the game from complete domination!

Ryu99 and Lakak, how do you know that Gyarados hasn't been not using his role for the past few nights specifically so that an argument like this would make sense? Lakak's role was revealed, and it's not like anyone was killed who could have been Gyarados. Why wouldn't it be revealed if Gyarados was killed?
Keep in mind, Lakak, that you have until Absoltrainer posts to change your vote. If you don't, then you've just doomed all of us. Either way, I have no regrets. I've done all I can to help you.

Lakak made the decision to break the stalemate of Shadow Zangoose and Lucario ex, loosening the pressure on Ryu99. Lucario ex begged for everyone to listen to her as she had been attempting to do the entire stay on the island. The survivors would not have it however, and they ganged up on her. They grabbed her legs and arms and dragged Lucario ex to the lynching cliff. Off the body went, and no fish Pokemon went hungry that night.
The seer was dead, had the town made the wrong move? As everyone dispersed to the almost empty huts, they began doubting survival was gurenteed.

Very few people were left, but the night was full of activity. Everyone with a mission that night would end up together, not necessarily alive. A man snuck through the forest. Determined to finish his partner’s mission and bring the criminals to justice, the new detective was out to find his target. With so few people left, his search was bringing him close to the final wolf. However as he was stalking his target, a stalker in the bushes was watching him. The new detective was fully aware of the man watching him, but decided he was not a threat, and continued on. He came to his target, who he thought was the wolf. He watched the supposal wolf as it walked around the area, searching for something. The detective brought up the file he had on him but never got a chance to read it. The wolf had found his target. The target was the detective. Time For Pain looked up to the gun barrel as it brought instant death at point blank range.
The man in the bushes knew it was a good time to run away, and he disappeared, missing the next event.
The wolf was walking away from his kill when a pixilated electronic gargle filled the area around him. He could not make out any words in the gargle except one.
“delete”
And Shadow Zangoose was deleted from existence.
The wolf was completely gone, and no trace of him was left behind. Well except the murderous gang’s .45 pistol, the weapon that had claimed many live during the last eight days.
When dawn broke, and everyone saw the gun laying on the ground next to the dead body of Time For Pain, they knew the wolves were dead, a great victory for the town. Or was it? Someone had killed the last wolf. That meant that there were perhaps more dangers out there that were still on the loose. The survivors were far from safe yet.
As they finished breakfast, and got ready to set up the lynch, they noticed something strange. The wolf’s gun was missing….

I can get other stuff like bringing people back to life (never got that yet) and making people not be able to talk or doubling my vote or protecting me from lynch. Well this time I was forced to kill someone... so I killed the wolf. It's just part of my role that I have to use on some occasions.

Ryu, if you read Shadow Zangoose's power, you'd see how he could make someone vote for someone else. I asume he was able to use his power last night before he was killed. Forcing Mew* to vote for you.

The remaining 4 town’s people made their decision. It was Mew*’s time to go. As they went to approach him, Mew* looked up, then began to pixilate. Within a few moments he was gone, deleted from existence as he had done to Shadow Zangoose the Night before.
***NOTE*** The effects were completely unknown to Mew*. He would activate his power, and I would tell him the effect. I used an 8 sided dice as stated in the role, and the table I used consisted of:
Mew* was dead, the 3 remaining townspeople went off to their separate housing. Only one knew however, that tonight would be the last night.....

The three remaining survivors all found a note in their bed that night to meet up at the campfire ring at 12:00. Sdrawkcab, and Ryu99 both silently stood across from each other at the campfire pit, wondering why they had gotten the note. The silence was broken by a loud clicking noise. A noise that could not be mistaken. Someone had just cocked a gun. Sdrawkcab and Ryu99 both turned around and saw Lakak holding the .45 that used to belong to the wolves. Their eyes widened as they saw Lakak leveling the gun at them.
“heheheheheheehheeheheehehe” Lakak chuckled insanely. “I am tired of this island, of this fear, of this chase. I want it all to end……”
Lakak tilted his head to the left with a constant smile stretching on his face. The smile disappeared and turned to frown.
“Only two bullets……no no no…..need three to end the misery……”
Sdrawkcab and Ryu99 just stared, their hands held above their head. They had no idea what Lakak’s next move would be.
Lakak’s frown had been replaced with a serious look on his face, “LET ONE LIVE TO TELL THE TALE!!”
He pointed the gun at Sdrawkcab who flinched, then he moved the gun towards Ryu99 who shut his eyes tight. Lakak lowered the gun towards the ground.
“LET THE GAME END NOW!!!!!” he screamed and raised the pistol again. Both of the people in front of him shut their eyes and prepared fro death. Lakak pulled the trigger, and a shot echoed through the night breaking the moment of tension. He then put the gun to his own head and pulled the trigger again killing him self.
Sdrawkcab opened his eyes, and looked to his left. Ryu99 lay on the ground dead. In front of him, Lakak lay dead as well.
**NEW Role given to Lakak after Shadow Zangoose Died****
Sdrawkcab was the lone survivor on the island, he had won the game and fulfilled his mission.

He left the island knowing that he had passed a great test that had been put in front of him. He was victorious and had achieved his objective. As he made his escape from the island by swimming off, he could have sworn he heard a voice come from the island say “time and space cannot not be destroyed”, but assumed it was the wind and continued on his way to live off in peace.

Ok, guys that ends Werewolf IX (Team Galactic's Plot). This was one heck of a game with surprises around every corner. I was never able to expect this would be the outcome, and I never thought the game would last this long. This was an amazing game, thank you all for playing.
Well this is the part where I share the game from my point of view. First I will post the end game status (with a few comments on the side) then I’ll go day by day to make it really fun and explain how and why certain things happened.

Day 1
Ok this went as any Day 1 goes, random voting. They group voted to lynch Pokepockets day 1 because he bragged about winning the last game. Basically Pokepockets did the WORST POSSIBLE thing to do on Day 1. He gave people a reason to lynch him. It was a stupid not related reason, but a reason, non-the less. Heck if a person sneezes on Day 1, they get lynched. So we lost a wolf Day 1, and since I wanted to see an equal chance for all factions to win, this was sad to see. I was SHOCKED to see Lakak survive.
Night 1
Well the Priest (Lifevirus7) listened to cards this night and protected him. Ironically almost everyone also targeted Cardz that night. I chose the perspective of Lucario for this night and used it to show how he saw everyone failed to pierce the “pure of heart barrier” which was the priest’s shield. Lucario was obviously the Pokemon always trying to tech people of the Aura. The detective and Brock both failed in their attempts to see Cardz and the Alpha Wolf failed in his attempt to bite Cardz. Jason used his Pichu ability to try and Role Block someone (cannot remember who) but it missed. The Wolves although trying to bite Cardz made a smart move in killing someone else. They targets DukeFireBird, and killed off Yu-Gi-Oh. I must say this really saddened me. DFB had one of my all time favorite roles, and losing and independent so early was kind of a let down. I really wanted to see where he could have gone because his role allowed for sooo much creativity. He could choose just about any Yu-Gi-Oh card, and I would try to adapt it to a role for that night for him. He even earned a 50% chance of surviving that night, but alas got tails when the dice was rolled as I wrote the update. You also remember that Lakak lost his mouth in a pixilated event. That was Mew*’s MissingNo.’s doing as that was the first effect that Mew* got. Ikrit put his unique ability to good use and made Azure Kite smile. More off that REALLY busy night is that the Vigilante made a bulls-eye and killed off Metricus who was another wolf. Cardz, while being protected, also used his Eevee ability to evolve into Espeon and gain seer like abilities.
At this point 2 wolves were dead, and 1 indie, but no towns yet, it was looking good for them.
Day 2
First of all I was SOOOOOO happy to see all of the analysis and discussion going on that day as people tried to figure out what had happened the night before. The key players began to make a defined place for themselves, and accusations were already flying. I mean some of these posts were just HUGE, and more then one were made by some people, it was a really good read. Unfortunately a couple of players were drawing attention to themselves. Jason and Brawler, who would end of being sibling Wolf/Townie were making it too obvious of their working for one another. This was also when Hurricane Ike hit my area and I lost power for a week, so I was managing the game from my dad’s BlacBerry. I watched the game progress, and made the update when I got electricity back. When Jason replied with “meh” to an accusation made towards him, his fate (and Brawler’s) was sealed. The Town lynched Jason who eneded up being the Role Blocker Pichu, but also scored when the Wolf, Brawler killed himself.
With Day 2 ending that the wolves already losing 3 of their 6 wolves, I was beginning to think this game was going to be very, very short.
Night 2
This was like Déjà vu, only with Mew* this time. Mew*’s glitch abilty granted him invulnerability for the night. Meanwhile the Priest protected Cardz again, so the 2 biggest targets in the game were invincible. Almost everyone targeted Mew* that night, and for the second night in a row, almost every role failed, and no effects were being seen. The wolves once again avoided the protected people and killed off Ikrit, another one of my favorite roles. Ikrit was Togepi, and had the ability to make people smile. This was a VERY strong power because it allowed Ikrit to throw suspicion towards certain people. I was sad to see him die so early in the game also because Ikrit was a new player, but was making posts with the same analytical level that Cardz’s posts had. He truly impressed me in the little time he played.
Day 3
This day was in large part due to a fluke by Z-man. This day started out with Madhatter accusing Z-man of being a wolf with no proof straight out. This sudden move caused a stir throughout the group. Z-man was assaulted with accusations and was unable to strategically rebuke them all efficiently. When Cardz (who was in a mason with Hatter) supported to movement and role claimed at the same time, it was set in stone and Z-man died. Another Wolf had lost his life. It was later revealed that Z-man’s younger brother had seen his brother’s role and talked to Madhatter about it at league. Unaware that Madhatter was playing the game, Z-man’s little brother inadvertently killed his older brother off.
Ok, so I see 4 out of 6 wolves dead, and it’s not even night 3. This game is looking so short, that I was already planning my next one. Events in the next night however would prove me otherwise.
Night 3
Ok now what makes this night game changing was the evolution of Sdrawkcab. Sdrawkcab, who was Magikarp, fulfilled the requirement of making 10 posts (he was unaware that he could evolve, or that this was the requirement). With evolution came a POWERFUL, but rarely used role. He was able to use that role during this night, and would unknowingly shape the game from then on. When I realized that Gyarados’s role was about to be used, I knew that this game may not be as short as I thought it would be. Not only was a game changing role about to be used, but I had decided when I made the role that when Magikarp evolved, he would go from a townie, to an independent, thus changing alignments. The rampage began and using a coin to flip heads or tails for bruising and role blocking. The role also allowed for one possible kill. Fried Blaziken was unlucky enough to get hit, and Onix (a role I got from one of Cardz’s earlier games), was killed off. If you notice, the “pure of heart barrier” was broken that night. LifeVirus7, who was the priest, had his role blocked, so I figured I would make it exciting, and have it blocked in mid use. That being said, had anyone tried to affect the person in the barrier, it would have worked, but no one did. Cardz got bruised as well, so despite the barrier not working, his role was unusable for the second time. Gyarados missed the wolves however (there were only 2) their small numbers worked as an advantage this time, and they targeted Madhatter, who was Gary Oak.
The people that Sdrawkcab had hit were all bruised in the morning so it gave people a way to figure out who had what role.
The people bruised were: Lakak, Mew*, Sandslash7, LifeVirus7, TimeforPain, and CardzMaster2004. Mew* had targeted the Alpha Wolf that night, so Gyarados prevented the game from ending that much faster. Sandslash7 had ALSO tried to attack Azure Kite. When both of them received heads on the dice I rolled to see who would be bruised and role blocked, I realized this game was going to get very interesting. Lakak was also key. Because Lakak had no role that would be seen in the update, he could not be classified as a specific role, and remained a suspect along with Time For Pain.
People remember the weird wording I had regarding how Madhatter was seen walking around. That was the first time homeofmew’s ability was seen. She had targeted protected people in the past, but this time chose Madhatter. As Ditto, she transformed into the person she chose to cause mayhem…which this particular transformation did very well.
Lucario finally got his role to work, and the town saw the effect (and knowledge) that could be gained by who Lucario chose to send to the Mountains. A combination of Lucario and Gyarados’s roles allowed it to be seen that Sandslash7 was the Vigilante.
Day 4
As Day 4 went by, I was happy to once again see a LOT of discussion and activity. I actually stumped Cardz on this one. He IMed me on AIM, and expressed his amazement at my ability to stump him during this game. Lucario ex, who had learned that Mew* (MissingNo) was an independent, did all she could to get him lynched, but to no avail. During this day, I saw perhaps one of the GREATEST made moves ever made in a werewolf game. Sdrawkcab made a post that started by analyzing who was bruised, and began to identify certain people with certain roles. Then he made a move SOO AMAZINGLY brilliant that dropped my jaw when I saw it work. He made the statement that Gyarados usually injures itself when it uses thrash, and thus one of the injured people must be Gyarados. This move was brilliant because it was instantly accepted as a theory and then supported by Cardz, who then convinced the rest of the group. In that one post, Sdrawkcab was able to remove ANY suspicion placed on him as Gyarados, and at the same time, make the game focus on the people who were bruised for the next few Game Days. Lakak, being the one person with no role attached to him was immediately classified as Gyarados using process of elimination and lynched. Lakak’s role was to come back from the dead (since he always dies Day 1) and thus his role was not posted giving more suspicion to his alignment.
Night 4
Nothing involving most roles really happened except with the Alpha Wolf. In this post I decided to let on that there were only two wolves left, they decided to kill the already known Vigilante, Sandslash7. This disappointed me because I really wanted to see the first Vig to Wolf conversion in Pokegym Werewolf history. That conversion would also give the wolves an amazing chance to win. Alas, they decided to kill him instead, and showed that their bite mark no longer held any threat.
Day 5
Things really became interesting here because Shadow Zangoose, the only wolf besides the Alpha with a side ability, began to use it for the first time. He had the ability to influence a NON HUMAN to vote any way he desired. He chose Cardz for his first target and made him vote Sdrawkcab. This was a wise move because a large part of the town followed Cardz in whatever move he made, and thus several people followed his claim. In order to save himself, Cardz made a larger role claim post. He also began to seriously analyze the other players. He knew he had little time in the game, so he let out everything he knew or felt he knew. One of those things was reinforcing his feeling that Mew* was a townie and he accused Lucario ex of bad things. Ironically Mew* was an independent, and Lucario ex knew that. Cardz was being put in a very bad spot because of the forced vote role, and was unable to defend himself. Meanwhile, his role claim was not being believed and for the first time during this game, the town was turning on him. He got 5 of the 7 needed votes when a sudden change happened. First I want to point out that Cardz post about 2-3 more time the he believed that Sdrawkcab and Mew* were townies and loosened the suspicion on them both. Right as he was about to be lynched the tables changed. Everyone began to hit Time For Pain on the accusation of him being Gyarados (good job Sdrawkcab) All of this was going off of Sdrawkcab’s reasoning of one of the bruised being Gyarados. Time For Pain accumulated votes very quickly and Cardz had his noose loosened. However this day would not end so easily. It was Shadow Zangoose’s turn to almost get lynched off for little activity. As votes when undecided to one person, and then to another, I began getting PMs and IMs about how I would end this day. I was going to do nothing, but I got way to many PMs and IMs, so I made the announcement that “No Lynch” was an option. Lucario ex immediately took that offer and shifted the focus to her. Now SHE was getting the votes against her due to Cardz’s accusation post. At one point 8 different choices were being voted. Finally homeofmew made some stubborn posts that gave everyone a reason to agree, so they chose to finally end the day and lynch her.
Night 5
Cardz told me he expected to die, and he was right. He did however reveal MUCH more then he knew when he died. He chose to use his role (finally able to) and used it on Lucario ex. Lucario ex was the other seer and thus stole Cardz’s seer abilites. Right after that, Cardz died. The person in the bushes, the stalker was watching Lucario and knew that she was in fact the seer. That person was Brock AKA Ryu99. Ryu99 now knew that Lucario was the seer. This fact that would play a heavy part later in the game.
Day 6
The day started out with Mew* being hit with Shadow Zangoose’s forced vote role. He was forced to vote Lifevirus7. Sdrawkcab was using this out of the blue vote to steer everyone in the direction of Mew* who had no way to defend himself. It was Kabutops141 however that bit the dust because the group used the people who were bitten and Cardz’s posts and reasoning to rule out ARMandok as a wolf, thus pointing to the townie Scyther AKA Kabutobs141.
Now this game had seriously changed from the 4 wolves and an independent streak in the beginning, this game had no clear cut winner anymore.
Night 6
I had a rough week while the roles were coming in and was a little late in the update, but got it up. Our priest LifeVirus7 finally died ( I was surprised he lasted this long) and Lakak surprised everyone by returning to life.
Day 7
Shadow had not gotten his role to me in time so it was not used (or he chose not to use it, I forgot) Mew* was able to explain his weird voting the day before. ARMondak, who was the detective had learned of Azure Kite’s Wolfness the night before with his role and led a move to lynch him. Time For Pain, who was ARMondak’s mason buddy supported the movement followed by Lucario ex who knew from her vision he was a wolf as well. A few other people gave into the bandwagon and voted him as well. The first wolf since Night 2 had finally been killed/lynched. The Alpha did not go down without a fight and he took Lucario/Shiny Gyarados with him. With Lucario gone, no one was going off to the Mountains anymore. This also left Shadow Zangoose as the final wolf.
Night 7
Of course Shadow Zangooses’s first move was to kill off the detective that had so much influence in the town. He killed ARMondak and I clued in that someone was his mason and would take his role but did not reveal that it would be Time For Pain.
Day 8
Mew* was hit with the auto vote again and had to vote for Lucario ex. Lucario ex on the other had made a VERY bold move and made a role claim, while also listing the CORRECT alignments of the remaining people. Ironically the last few nights, she had had visions of these EXACT people who were still alive, so she knew where everyone stood. She proposed to go after Shadow Zangoose. The 3 of the 4 townies voted for Shadow Zangoose. Shadow (the wolf) and the two independents banded together and voted for Lucario ex leaving ryu99 to break the tie. Before he got a chance to though, Lakak changed his vote and killed off Lucario ex, the seer.
Night 8
During the night 2 major deaths occurred. Shadow Zangoose went after the new detective and killed Time For Pain. Meanwhile Mew* received the “kill someone” ability with his glitch power and got rid of Shadow Zangoose and the last wolf. I also had the Wolf’s gun removed by someone.
Day 9
This was going to be the last lynch day, and by chance the winner would be decided by this lynch. Mew* was vote forced despite Shadow being killed (the effect still went through) Sdrawkcab made a move before anyone else did and made a note that if Lucario ex was the seer and was right, then Mew* was an independent. Since t was known that Mew* was the pixilation Pokémon, it only furthered the conclusion that he had to be lynched. He got the 3 votes and was killed off. Thus one of my favorite roles in the game finally died.
Night 9
This is where the game ended. There were 2 townies left, and one independent. The independent’s goal was last one standing. Normally this would be a hard situation to end, but I had planned on this possibility so I added in the “wolf’s gun factor.” The wolf’s gun was taken by someone in the last update.
I had decided before I started the game that when the final wolf died, a random townie would pick up the gun. If the townie with the gun died, it would be passed on to another random townie.
If the game went down to 3 people and no faction had won, the townie with the gun would choose a person to die and then shoot themselves, leaving one person alive to win the game.
That situation came up here and Lakak had been given possession of the Wolf gun. He had to choose between Ryu99 (townie) and Sdrawkcab (independent) he chose Ryu99 and ended the game giving the win to Sdrawkcab, the independent.
So that is the analysis from my point of view of the game. It was an amazing game, and I never expected it to be this long. There was little bandwagon, which I really loved, and the amount of discussion and posting was phenomenal. I must say that this game surpassed all expectations that I ever had for it. I used a point of view not used before by posting the updates through the eyes of a certain character. This allowed me to flow clues in a more balanced form through my story. Those clues led to a lot a discussion and made for a VERY exciting game. The last few pages contain various clues about my next planned werewolf game and theme which I intend to be even better and more exciting then this one.

Lakak tilted his head to the left with a constant smile stretching on his face. The smile disappeared and turned to frown.
“Only two bullets……no no no…..need three to end the misery……”
Sdrawkcab and Ryu99 just stared, their hands held above their head. They had no idea what Lakak’s next move would be.
Lakak’s frown had been replaced with a serious look on his face, “LET ONE LIVE TO TELL THE TALE!!”
He pointed the gun at Sdrawkcab who flinched, then he moved the gun towards Ryu99 who shut his eyes tight. Lakak lowered the gun towards the ground.
“LET THE GAME END NOW!!!!!” he screamed and raised the pistol again. Both of the people in front of him shut their eyes and prepared fro death. Lakak pulled the trigger, and a shot echoed through the night breaking the moment of tension. He then put the gun to his own head and pulled the trigger again killing him self.
Sdrawkcab opened his eyes, and looked to his left. Ryu99 lay on the ground dead. In front of him, Lakak lay dead as well.

Sdrawkcab was the lone survivor on the island, he had won the game and fulfilled his mission.

He left the island knowing that he had passed a great test that had been put in front of him. He was victorious and had achieved his objective. As he made his escape from the island by swimming off, he could have sworn he heard a voice come from the island say “time and space cannot not be destroyed”, but assumed it was the wind and continued on his way to live off in peace.

MODERATOR’S ANALYSIS
Ok, guys that ends Werewolf IX (Team Galactic's Plot). This was one heck of a game with surprises around every corner. I was never able to expect this would be the outcome, and I never thought the game would last this long. This was an amazing game, thank you all for playing.
Well this is the part where I share the game from my point of view. First I will post the end game status (with a few comments on the side) then I’ll go day by day to make it really fun and explain how and why certain things happened.

Day 1
Ok this went as any Day 1 goes, random voting. They group voted to lynch Pokepockets day 1 because he bragged about winning the last game. Basically Pokepockets did the WORST POSSIBLE thing to do on Day 1. He gave people a reason to lynch him. It was a stupid not related reason, but a reason, non-the less. Heck if a person sneezes on Day 1, they get lynched. So we lost a wolf Day 1, and since I wanted to see an equal chance for all factions to win, this was sad to see. I was SHOCKED to see Lakak survive.
Night 1
Well the Priest (Lifevirus7) listened to cards this night and protected him. Ironically almost everyone also targeted Cardz that night. I chose the perspective of Lucario for this night and used it to show how he saw everyone failed to pierce the “pure of heart barrier” which was the priest’s shield. Lucario was obviously the Pokemon always trying to tech people of the Aura. The detective and Brock both failed in their attempts to see Cardz and the Alpha Wolf failed in his attempt to bite Cardz. Jason used his Pichu ability to try and Role Block someone (cannot remember who) but it missed. The Wolves although trying to bite Cardz made a smart move in killing someone else. They targets DukeFireBird, and killed off Yu-Gi-Oh. I must say this really saddened me. DFB had one of my all time favorite roles, and losing and independent so early was kind of a let down. I really wanted to see where he could have gone because his role allowed for sooo much creativity. He could choose just about any Yu-Gi-Oh card, and I would try to adapt it to a role for that night for him. He even earned a 50% chance of surviving that night, but alas got tails when the dice was rolled as I wrote the update. You also remember that Lakak lost his mouth in a pixilated event. That was Mew*’s MissingNo.’s doing as that was the first effect that Mew* got. Ikrit put his unique ability to good use and made Azure Kite smile. More off that REALLY busy night is that the Vigilante made a bulls-eye and killed off Metricus who was another wolf. Cardz, while being protected, also used his Eevee ability to evolve into Espeon and gain seer like abilities.
At this point 2 wolves were dead, and 1 indie, but no towns yet, it was looking good for them.
Day 2
First of all I was SOOOOOO happy to see all of the analysis and discussion going on that day as people tried to figure out what had happened the night before. The key players began to make a defined place for themselves, and accusations were already flying. I mean some of these posts were just HUGE, and more then one were made by some people, it was a really good read. Unfortunately a couple of players were drawing attention to themselves. Jason and Brawler, who would end of being sibling Wolf/Townie were making it too obvious of their working for one another. This was also when Hurricane Ike hit my area and I lost power for a week, so I was managing the game from my dad’s BlacBerry. I watched the game progress, and made the update when I got electricity back. When Jason replied with “meh” to an accusation made towards him, his fate (and Brawler’s) was sealed. The Town lynched Jason who eneded up being the Role Blocker Pichu, but also scored when the Wolf, Brawler killed himself.
With Day 2 ending that the wolves already losing 3 of their 6 wolves, I was beginning to think this game was going to be very, very short.
Night 2
This was like Déjà vu, only with Mew* this time. Mew*’s glitch abilty granted him invulnerability for the night. Meanwhile the Priest protected Cardz again, so the 2 biggest targets in the game were invincible. Almost everyone targeted Mew* that night, and for the second night in a row, almost every role failed, and no effects were being seen. The wolves once again avoided the protected people and killed off Ikrit, another one of my favorite roles. Ikrit was Togepi, and had the ability to make people smile. This was a VERY strong power because it allowed Ikrit to throw suspicion towards certain people. I was sad to see him die so early in the game also because Ikrit was a new player, but was making posts with the same analytical level that Cardz’s posts had. He truly impressed me in the little time he played.
Day 3
This day was in large part due to a fluke by Z-man. This day started out with Madhatter accusing Z-man of being a wolf with no proof straight out. This sudden move caused a stir throughout the group. Z-man was assaulted with accusations and was unable to strategically rebuke them all efficiently. When Cardz (who was in a mason with Hatter) supported to movement and role claimed at the same time, it was set in stone and Z-man died. Another Wolf had lost his life. It was later revealed that Z-man’s younger brother had seen his brother’s role and talked to Madhatter about it at league. Unaware that Madhatter was playing the game, Z-man’s little brother inadvertently killed his older brother off.
Ok, so I see 4 out of 6 wolves dead, and it’s not even night 3. This game is looking so short, that I was already planning my next one. Events in the next night however would prove me otherwise.
Night 3
Ok now what makes this night game changing was the evolution of Sdrawkcab. Sdrawkcab, who was Magikarp, fulfilled the requirement of making 10 posts (he was unaware that he could evolve, or that this was the requirement). With evolution came a POWERFUL, but rarely used role. He was able to use that role during this night, and would unknowingly shape the game from then on. When I realized that Gyarados’s role was about to be used, I knew that this game may not be as short as I thought it would be. Not only was a game changing role about to be used, but I had decided when I made the role that when Magikarp evolved, he would go from a townie, to an independent, thus changing alignments. The rampage began and using a coin to flip heads or tails for bruising and role blocking. The role also allowed for one possible kill. Fried Blaziken was unlucky enough to get hit, and Onix (a role I got from one of Cardz’s earlier games), was killed off. If you notice, the “pure of heart barrier” was broken that night. LifeVirus7, who was the priest, had his role blocked, so I figured I would make it exciting, and have it blocked in mid use. That being said, had anyone tried to affect the person in the barrier, it would have worked, but no one did. Cardz got bruised as well, so despite the barrier not working, his role was unusable for the second time. Gyarados missed the wolves however (there were only 2) their small numbers worked as an advantage this time, and they targeted Madhatter, who was Gary Oak.
The people that Sdrawkcab had hit were all bruised in the morning so it gave people a way to figure out who had what role.
The people bruised were: Lakak, Mew*, Sandslash7, LifeVirus7, TimeforPain, and CardzMaster2004. Mew* had targeted the Alpha Wolf that night, so Gyarados prevented the game from ending that much faster. Sandslash7 had ALSO tried to attack Azure Kite. When both of them received heads on the dice I rolled to see who would be bruised and role blocked, I realized this game was going to get very interesting. Lakak was also key. Because Lakak had no role that would be seen in the update, he could not be classified as a specific role, and remained a suspect along with Time For Pain.
People remember the weird wording I had regarding how Madhatter was seen walking around. That was the first time homeofmew’s ability was seen. She had targeted protected people in the past, but this time chose Madhatter. As Ditto, she transformed into the person she chose to cause mayhem…which this particular transformation did very well.
Lucario finally got his role to work, and the town saw the effect (and knowledge) that could be gained by who Lucario chose to send to the Mountains. A combination of Lucario and Gyarados’s roles allowed it to be seen that Sandslash7 was the Vigilante.
Day 4
As Day 4 went by, I was happy to once again see a LOT of discussion and activity. I actually stumped Cardz on this one. He IMed me on AIM, and expressed his amazement at my ability to stump him during this game. Lucario ex, who had learned that Mew* (MissingNo) was an independent, did all she could to get him lynched, but to no avail. During this day, I saw perhaps one of the GREATEST made moves ever made in a werewolf game. Sdrawkcab made a post that started by analyzing who was bruised, and began to identify certain people with certain roles. Then he made a move SOO AMAZINGLY brilliant that dropped my jaw when I saw it work. He made the statement that Gyarados usually injures itself when it uses thrash, and thus one of the injured people must be Gyarados. This move was brilliant because it was instantly accepted as a theory and then supported by Cardz, who then convinced the rest of the group. In that one post, Sdrawkcab was able to remove ANY suspicion placed on him as Gyarados, and at the same time, make the game focus on the people who were bruised for the next few Game Days. Since t was known that Mew* was the pixilation Pokémon, it only furthered the conclusion that he had to be lynched. He got the 3 votes and was killed off. Thus one of my favorite roles in the game finally died.
Night 9
This is where the game ended. There were 2 townies left, and one independent. The independent’s goal was last one standing. Normally this would be a hard situation to end, but I had planned on this possibility so I added in the “wolf’s gun factor.” The wolf’s gun was taken by someone in the last update.
I had decided before I started the game that when the final wolf died, a random townie would pick up the gun. If the townie with the gun died, it would be passed on to another random townie.
If the game went down to 3 people and no faction had won, the townie with the gun would choose a person to die and then shoot themselves, leaving one person alive to win the game.
That situation came up here and Lakak had been given possession of the Wolf gun. He had to choose between Ryu99 (townie) and Sdrawkcab (independent) he chose Ryu99 and ended the game giving the win to Sdrawkcab, the independent.
So that is the analysis from my point of view of the game. It was an amazing game, and I never expected it to be this long. There was little bandwagon, which I really loved, and the amount of discussion and posting was phenomenal. I must say that this game surpassed all expectations that I ever had for it. I used a point of view not used before by posting the updates through the eyes of a certain character. This allowed me to flow clues in a more balanced form through my story. Those clues led to a lot a discussion and made for a VERY exciting game. The last few pages contain various clues about my next planned werewolf game and theme which I intend to be even better and more exciting then this one.
