Whoa, I exit the scene for a couple hours to exercise at the gym and there're like 50 more posts. Although I disagree with a No Kill decision, I do think we should slow down. I have just now observed an explosion of bandwagoning, mainly by the new players. This is my address to the new players.
Attention all new players. If you have not read the entire happenings of day one, or if your memory is fuzzy, I would strongly encourage you to go back and review what we've done today. Think about the big events that swayed the vote. As was said earlier, don't vote just because you can. There are Werewolf veterans in this game. DukeFireBird, Cardzmaster2004, Lucario EX, Ikrit, and even myself slightly.(I'm sure I left out people, sorry =p) If someone makes a big post, I don't want you to automatically vote for who they vote for. I admit, the post and the wording probably makes it look good, and sound like a pretty logical deduction which is easy to agree with. But all this does is encourage bandwagoning, and an election race with the logical veteran players competing for everyone else's vote. I want you ALL to be a part of this game, even if you have a vanilla role. I'm sick of all the skilled vets influencing the vote. Of course it's okay to vote for what they vote for, but think about it. I mean for yourself, not what they say.
Does Diaz deserve another chance? What if he's lying about being a priest? Can we risk that? No kill will slow us down, but is it a good move for day one? Will a better vote present itself if we use the time we have?
Answer these questions for yourselves. Normally I wouldn't post something like this, but there are a lot of noobies in this game. It's okay to be suspicious of some people, and it's okay to follow in the direction of the current vote. But think about for yourselves. The worst possible attitude that should be taken here is "well he's dead anyway, might as well vote for him". If you think someone else should go, vote for them. I want EVERYONE in this game to be a player, who can potentially win.
So, back on topic. As of right now, I'll keep my vote for Diaz. Losing a Priest isn't the end of the world, and I find it VERY unlikely that you are the priest. Diaz, no offense, but just keep your mouth shut for the time being. Not trying to violate any 'gym rules(you ALL should know the one I mean, since you ALL should know the rules) but you needn't say more lest you screw yourself any further. I'll also say I don't support an "I'm dead" attitude. If you're giving up that easily, you really shouldn't be in this game. You had 12 votes for you, and like that you thought it was all over for you.
Annnnnnnd anothah thing. You people are all saying "I don't want to kill a townie day 1". A sad reality you all should all except is that there's little to no chance we'll be able to make a logical deduction and be confident we're voting off a wolf. It's whoever is the unlucky sucker to make the wrong move. Now I will say that Diaz made a bad a move in his logic, which inclines me to think he is a wolf, but there's still no way to be sure.
The thing is, Diaz is a logical player. He used bad logic, but he did use logic. This early in the game, when we have no info on anyone, if you say you're the Priest, will the town vote you off? The town doesn't want to risk it. It's almost a mind game. But needless to say, if you are the Priest, you don't have much longer in this game. If you aren't the priest, well, then you're most likely a dangerous player. In other words, if you are the priest, we've already lost you. If there's a second priest, he/she cannot protect you forever. For this reason, I feel you should be voted off. If you are the priest, I want to strongly apologize to the town, but death for Diaz is imminent if he is the priest and we don't lynch him.
