Replies in bold. Also, my opinion as to why you are pointing your finger at me. It is an OMGUS against me. You also saw that I made some mistakes earlier in the game and are bringing them up now, to put pressure on people that aren't you. You know you are getting lynched, and you are just trying to convince people that I'm not town, which I am. I'm sure know that, too, since I am 99% sure that you are a wolf.
I don't see Vegitalian's vote against Vablakes as an OMGUS vote, but I do agree with the fact that is an attempt to point in the other direction away from himself.

Vablakes and I are both playing bad; making seemingly scummy moves. The last sentence strikes me as odd. The difference is that I've laid my cards on the table and we have limited time left. I'm giving you a chance to avoid voting out a townie, and vote someone that has made some scummy plays. One day left - let's go guys.
Basically saying they've both been playing scummy, but he has "laid [his] cards on the table" (name claimed) which somehow makes Vablakes a better candidate.

Instead of pointing your finger at me and taking a sentence out of context to make me look scummy, why don't you give us a reason not to lynch you? Because all you have done so far is what you accused me of in your post: trying to take the heat off of yourself. Instead of attacking others, why don't you defend yourself?
So far, all I've seen from Vegitalian in form of a defense has been a name claim, which I don't see as being that strong as far as defenses go. Vablakes speaks my thinking that this whole "everyone attack Vablakes!" is just an excuse for letting Vegitalian go.

I don't even know what would convince me that you are a townie. Honestly, you really haven't been defending yourself very well, and I think that it will take a miracle to convince a lot of people that you are not scum. And you really don't have long. Lynching you is the best option IMO. You were acting super scummy, and even tried to make connections between people where there weren't any. (For example, PP101 and I). You were not defending yourself at all and were instead going after other people to try and put attention on them instead of yourself. I feel like you were role fishing a while back. You would completely ignore any valid points made against you. You were taking parts of posts out of context to make others look scummy and make you look good. That is why I voted for you. I did not bandwagon. I feel that you are the best option for a lynch. And, if you flip town, I will have no regrets. You have been playing scummy and your only real defense was a role name reveal. That doesn't tell us much about your role, and it could have easily have been faked.
I don't really see Vegitalian's defense either, so if someone could please provide me with link if I've missed it, that would be much appreciated. Anyways, I don't really think saying "if you flip town, I will have no regrets" is super-scummy when you feel someone is scum (which Vablakes obviously does).

If it gets closer to the end and the majority remains with Vablakes, I will change my vote to get the lynch. However, I still think Vegitalian is the better choice.

@Vablakes: If nothing happens to change the situation you are in within the next hour or so, then I would suggest you at the very least name claim (I personally think that it might be necessary to do more than that at this point in the game day).

@ prohawk

I've been very busy, and had to do a fairly quick analysis of the thread. I based my conclusion of what I saw while looking over it fairly quickly, so it's possible I missed some of the finer points. I didn't notice a change in writing style, but that's not to say it isn't there. Could you, or someone please show the posts that demonstrate this?

DP - Its in Absol's post that you decided to cut for yourself, but I feel that there are better examples like.

Yeah, I made a mistake. I'm paying for it. I accept that. I own up to it. Yes, I missworded something. Yes, it looked suspicious. Next time, I will wait until morning. I have no excuse.

and this.

Wow, really? I said that I don't know what would convince me that he is townie, not that nothing could convince me that he is townie. There is a difference.

@everyone else, I'm going to bed now. I'll post more in the morning.

All right, sorry, I was supposed to have an electrician come out today, I have a bunch of electrical issues with my house, and he couldn't make it which totally changed my plans, so I couldn't make any posts. As per jellyfisher's request:

I am Latais.

That is my role name.

@Human Destroyer, if you don't think I'm the best option, then why even vote for me? Why isn't no lynch a better option than lynching town?

Does anyone have any questions for me? I will answer any questions as long as no role fishing. Fire away.

So, just curious... why did you choose a gambit that is used with a Vanilla Townie if you claim not to be one?

All right, I was using the "Bad Townie Gambit". It reads:

This gambit is best pulled off by a Vanilla Townie. In the first day of the game, act scummy in an intentional act to draw a small wagon. Without a doubt you'll have one or two over-eager wolves hop on your wagon near the middle. Naturally, it is best you reveal your ploy soon after, lest you actually get lynched.

So, just curious... why did you choose a gambit that is used with a Vanilla Townie if you claim not to be one?

It is best used with a Vanilla Townie. Not used just by Vanilla Townies.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, but I have been reading and trying to keep up.

So, why is everyone just switching over their votes, just for a “no lynch?” We tried this last game, and the wolves won a clean game—and with illogically logical reasons for guiding the town in the wrong direction. I personally still do not see any of the candidates as particularly scummy. For those that are voting because they firmly believe in the investigations and reactions, good.

@Prohawk—at first I was wary of your investigation tactics, but now I see why you play the way you do. I think there should always be multiple angles to approaching a problem.

As for the Vablakes issue, I do not really have a problem with what he said. It is true that townies die in every game, and it is true that townies accidentally kill other townies.

As for Vegi, I do not ultimately like his defense, but I also believe that he posted much how some new players would post.

As for AT, I know he has/had something up his sleeve—whether it is a devious plan or a helping hand, I do not know. Personally, I did not like how he pushed so hard—38 pages was not necessary.

The more and more I read these debates the more and more I agree with exactly what Thunderjolt here just said, none of them read scum to me at least not massively, AT did for a while and then only a little, but right now truthfully I have no idea who to vote for and what to do, Vegilaint will probably be my last minute vote if I need one but for now I just need more proof against people to feel like I need to vote somebody. AT does seem to have some plan but weither good or evil is undecided, so...

Unvote: AbsolTrainer.

My sister had pointed out some pretty good reasons for a AT lynch, but now I don't see it being necessary.

I had that feeling for the longest time, I was going to go for vegi but his nameclaim made me doubt. I think Vablakes would be a decent choice.

Blakes, there is a reason why that gambit is done best by Vanilla Townies, I would still like to know why you chose it.

I want to go on record saying I don't like having a no-lynch because process of elimination is a powerful tool to be able to evaluate where the wolves are hiding out. Trying to figure out why night kills happened is filled with WIFOM. Without a lynch, the night kill is the only concrete information we will have going into D2.

I wasn't joking when I said that I would vote for anyone D2 who does not place a vote. Everyone needs to get in here and make a decision.

What do you mean? The town never "no-lynched" last game.

I think that in this instance, No-Lynch is a completely viable option, and could be considered. However, my vote stays due to Vablakes' scumminess.

I know there is a reason why it is best pulled off by VT. As for why I went for it, I read cabd's guide and saw this:

Even if you're brand new to the game, make an attempt to scumhunt. Even if you're not quite doing it perfectly, the experience you're getting is invaluable. Once you've done it long enough, your inner gut will start to be able to give you tells as well.

Never just sit there and hope the town power roles can slug it out with the wolf power roles. That's a good way to lose the game.

And I realized that the information from that gambit could help us. That's when I decided to use it.
