Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Western Canadian "April 14/15, 2012" TCG/VGC Regional Championship

Looking forward to going back to Canada to play for a 3rd time. even though I am 4 games under 500 playing there and 13 games up elsewhere.

Couldn't top cut for Juniors / Seniors finish on Day 1 in case they want to play the video game on Day 2? I know a few really good Junior / Senior players in some of the events last fall had to pick between dropping out of TCG or not getting to play VGC and it really sucked for them considering they were done swiss at like 2PM the day before.

We want people to plan on coming back on Sunday. But what happens really depends on attendance. If we have the time to finish the TCG top cut on Saturday we will. The plan is to play TCG until 6 or 7 PM on Saturday, and I don't know how far into the top cut we will get.

for juniors/seniors, it is definitely psosible to finish on saturday. for masters.....definitely not!

Are you sure that they ca nfinsih Junirs in one day. I couyld be wrong but I though all top cuts were supposed to be held on the second day of Regionals.

They don't HAVE to be, just most regionals are large enough that for time's sake they have to be. There's no rule explicitly stating that they must be split up, though.

I believe the tournament location has ben moved to a vacant store within the same mall but this space is larger and is also closer to the gaming store.

Small Note: The Location of this event has been changed due to large turn out at Provincial Championship. For those of you that already booked your hotel, don't worry it will stay in the same mall.

The event will now take place in the empty retail space between Target and The Shoe Company on the Upper Level. Here's a map: http://www.centralcity.ca/directory/

I'll be there, hopefully I'll make more of a showing than last time.

I just want to have one winning record at a big tourney this year. This has been my worst performance in big events in the past 6 years. I am 4 games under 500 in States and regionals with one to go. Hoepfully I can manage to do well in this last one of the year.

Won't be around for TCG Day but I hope to see a lot of new faces on Sunday :D Gonna be fun! Canada's first Video Game Championship event.
