If anybody wants to book they should call directly (604-588-9511) and say that they’re to get the special rate. They will give us a discounted rate of $89 plus tax for a double room (I think it can hold 4 people but check when they call in). They don’t have a shuttle service but they said a cab from the airport costs about $55, or you could take the Sky Train (I'll post up the skytrain info at the bottom). Side Events:

here's a list of all the "possible" side events: http://pokegym.net/forums/showthread.php?p=1967265#post1967265

Pokémon Video Game Tournament
- 4 on 4 Double Battle with the new pokemons only.

Starter Deck Battles
- Each player gets one of the new Black & White Starter decks and a tracking sheet. The tracking sheet will have room for their name, and room to record the names of 5 opponents. Once players have played against 5 opponents, they turn in their tracking sheet and receive a coupon which they can redeem for a black & white booster at either of The Connection games stores when the set is available.

Team Battle
- Players must drop from the main event before signing up for team battle. Team Battle should start near the end of the main event swiss rounds (before top cut). Players form teams of 2 players. Each player needs a 60 card modified legal deck (2 decks per team). (This will not be age bracketed – so parent & child can play on the same team.)

Double Battle Event
- Players must drop from the main event before entering the double battle. Each player needs a 60 card modified legal deck. This event plays as a standard 1 on 1 battle with up to 2 active and 4 bench.

Booster Draft
- Players must drop from the main event before entering the draft. Each player gets 3 packs to draft from.
