What is PayPal's Problem?

Paypal has always been extremely helpful to me when things have happened. I have a debit card that I use for my account, and a gas station took 75.00 more out of the account to cover the 20.00 I spent. The 75.00 was my coverage for food, and our trip home from a states tournament. 4 hour drive with lots of snow. I wanted a buffer in case we needed to get a hotel for a second night. I called up customer service, and they immediately got the money credited back to my account. Maybe I'm weird....but I've had no issues with them. Glad to hear you got your money back though!

Thanks. Well, if there is going to be a scammer buyer, they'll go after people that sell expensive stuff. PayPal is great for sellers like you that mainly sell $1 cards and other low priced items. That is probably why you haven't had any problems there.

I haven't had any problems as the seller so far, but it is only a matter of time before I get one of those scam buyers.

It's people like me that sell iPods that need to watch out >_<

I GOT ALL ME MONEY BACK $$$$$

The reason I was so scared is because I'm pretty sure that if the seller doesn't have the money in their account, then you don't get your money back... you only get it back if they can recover it.

My guess is that PayPal got suspicious of this dudes account and locked it up so that he couldn't move the money around, or maybe they reversed and attempts he made to transfer funds to a bank account.

Did any of you guys ever read the PayPal agreement? I checked it out recently and there is some ridiculous stuff in there!

Sad part about this, this guy still probably got away with $7000+ in his pocket

I betting the most paypal did was put his paypal account into a negative, thats it, I.C. Systems will then try to collect the debt and thats it. The guy is probably running loose in walmart.
