Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

what is the BDIF

well, those are your experiences, and yours tend to differ with mine, and that's ok. in fact, i've never actually been donked playing jumpluff before. maybe it's because i am very lucky (and play 16 basics), but I reckon Jumpluff isn't as donkable as people make it out to be. Only 4-5 of its 15+ basics (whether you play unown q or not) are that vulnerable to T1 knockouts. And most people, including myself, wouldn't include a deck's donkability in its "consistency rating", or whatever you want to call it.

Here's the deal with SP. If you don't open with a Cyrus, then you pretty much have to get an uxie out. if that uxie doesn't get you a Cyrus then, you can be in trouble. But as i said, these are my experiences.

Against what? It doesn't matter if flygon gets set up against luxchomp because Dragon rush KO's it and you are left with nothing. Flygon loses against Jumpluff and Gyarados also. Also, about the best player thing that is not always true. Luck plays a huge hand in results.

A good Flygon List (its here again ;) ) which puts a lot into beating luxchomp can do so pretty easily IMO, its just a matter of not letting them kill your setup and fight them with there own tools. Still by no means easy but positive IMO. And Gyarados, it depends on the list but Gon should be pretty capable of beating it

Flygon has the potential to be one of the BDIF's if played right. There are so many combinations that work with it.
The only reason it isn't the OMG BDIF!!!!! is because it takes skill and is tricky to set up.

I am not saying that Luxchomp is not one of the best decks that are out there (and I played it at states and took 3rd) but if built and played correctly there are a lot of decks that are considered "rogue" right now that can beat it.

Is DialgaChomp REALLY below Cursegar? Dialga G Lv.X + 4 Sp.metals = no damage done unless Gengar is belted. And DGX shuts off Spiritomb. Am I missing something?\

Also, I haven't seen a Beedrill or straight Machamp in ages. Is this an overall list for all age groups?

how do i fit that all into luxpluff? whaa? go look at chris fulop's list and observe how easy it is to fit "all that" into a list.

Who cares if gengar is able to get a OHKO (which actually takes two turns because it needs Curse)? so is jumpluff (via regice/warp point/luxray), and it opens with a significant prize lead while gengar switch is building a Cursegar with 3 energy. not only that but if you can get a bright look on a curse gengar and ohko, it's pretty much gg for gengar.

and whatever, luxchomp's match-up to cursegar is kinda irrelevant to this. jumpluff and luxchomp are two totally seperate decks.

First of all under spiritomblock you cannot warp point. If you regice then all they have to do is send up another spiritomb or even a mime. I just looked at the list and I thought it was very consistent. Except for the fact that it runs 4 basic energy. That is a horrible count. That is a very risky play and it sucks the consistency right out of the deck. Once again I think Jumpluff is a very good deck and it at least deserves the top 4 of best decks. However it won't make a huge splash at regionals due to the number of people playing it. I still think Luxchomp is the best deck. It can beat any deck by ruining their set up.

Um, if they send up Spiritomb, you don't NEED to Warp Point, because the Cursegar deck is giving you a free prize right there. i was referring to warping/regicing out mimes or if they are two, utilisng bright look. sorry if i wasn't clear.

If you actually play the deck, you'll realise that 6 energy is easily enough though the early stages of the game. It doesn't "ruin the consistency", especially considering you should be running a few roseanne's to help you search them out as well.

I would say the top 3 BEST decks in the format are Sableye/Honchkrow/Garchomp C/Giratina/Cyrus's Iniative/Swamps/Exodias/etc., Luxchomp and Jumpluff are the best three. The most successfull three would definitely have to be Gyarados, Gengar and Luxchomp. (all in no particular order) Would you guys agree?

Actually, gyarados has won more than one state. It is one of the top e and if u do not Agree, then pay close attention to what wins regionals.
I actually agree with you since I'm testing it right now with Luxray, which will probably be what I'm using.
I wonder if LuxChAmp can do good at one Regionals.
