The problem is no matter how much people want Charizard G to be good, it isn't. It takes way too much support to work and gets annihilated by Palkia G.
only thing i can think of is using Typhlosion MT, and having Charizard suck the energies in... and maybe Heatran to recover energies if he flips tails....
I play it with Rayquaza and Electivire SW, and it seems to work fine. Electivire Lv.X makes a great back up attacker vs. pesky SP decks and helps with your Palkia G matchup
I've only ever found Charizard in the category of "useful" as a 1-1 tech. Decks that play Fire energy but no Lightning (Thus no Rayquaza) may benefit from Charizard... it takes little support to get out and end-game when you have a field full of energy 150 damage can win you the game. May not be the best option if it's not your very last prize unless you're really good at flipping heads... because it's kinda bad to suck 5 energy out of your field @_@
