This is just a place to discuss what movies you are watching and to rate them if you want. Please give reasons to prevent this from being locked. Me personally...

I am seeing A Series of Unfortunate Events ( I like the book series), Chirstma s withthe Kranks (looks funny), and National Tresure (still haven't seen it, looks good).

I cant wait for fat albert to come out! looks funny, plus when i was little i was obsessed with the cartoon.

I can't WAIT for "Phantom of the Opera"!

I've seen it on stage three times (twice with Michael Crawford as the Phantom) and from what I've seen...trailers, clips etc...on the movie site, it looks just like the stage production, but even MORE elaborate. An online friend of mine in the UK has seen the movie already and said it was just amazing...

well i saw national treasure a while ago, it was alright, good movie but a little too preachy when it comes to history and information

i also want to see blade:trinity (gotta see the finale), Ocean's 12 (first one is still one of my favs) and Team America (still haven't bothered to see it

Woah I hadn't heard about this... Sounds really exciting!!! When's it supposed to come out though? (can't find that)

I'd like to see Ocean's 12, Incredibles (I've heard it's actually very good), and National Treasure. The one movie that I want to see just to see how badly they can make it is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, a remake of the old Willy Wonka movie staring Jonny Depp. I mean, why keep making these pathetic remakes of classic movies when the original was already so amazing?

December 22 in 'select cities'; January 21 nationwide...there's a link on the front page of the site under the 'enter flash site' banner to the list of 'select cities'.

Well I got pulled into seeing Unfortunate Events, and I must admit Jim Carey blew me away with his acting. He really got into it and made for a cleverly despicable villain. I hadn't read the series, nor did I plan to but after seeing the movie...I still don't plan to, but it was an entertaining movie.

Just the style of the movie is another good reason to see it. The clothes make you think it's possibly set in the past, but also maybe the present. Even with maybe older styles of clothing the designs on them make you wonder exactly what time the movie is set in.

But anyway, the kids' acting jobs were pretty ok. But best of all was the baby Sunny. She wasn't from the Mary-Kate and Ashley School of Acting. She wasn't annoyingly squeaky as most baby roles are. AND!!! her lines weren't cheesy!

So, I would recommend this movie because it has a pretty dark plot (I thought they wouldn't actually get into death and killing, but they jump right in there), with a pretty mean bad guy in Jim Carey. Plus the charactors in it are just great. A paranoid lady, a snake enthusiast, and more.

If you see one movie this year, make it a good one. But if you see multiple movies, then go ahead and watch this one and take a friend.

Wow, Lincoln is a select city, for once!!! OMG, I hope that is meaning Lincoln Nebraska, though… Really would like to see it... *It must be because they opened that megaplex, FINALLY* I've never really seen any plays/musicals, but my friend, who used to act all the time last year got me hooked on all of 'em! So, I'd love to see this for once...!

I would also LOVE to see A Series of Unfortunate Events! It looks soooo dark and sacarstic, and the like, that I just MUST see it! Carrey looks like he's gonna do an AWESOME job! I just hope it's better than the books, though, since they were kinda boring since I blew through one in about an hour...>_>

And, as a side note, another movie I'm DYING to see is "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy"...!!!11!1!!11!XD (As you can tell from my quote/sn, duh!) I know it comes out in May, but heck, I still REALLY wanna see it! I've read the first two books of the five book trilogy (book humor, lol), and am in the middle of the third one right now! I just hope that with Disney's hand in the making, they won’t be stricken with the “Disney curse” (where they completely desiccate the movie and the book alike…)...>___________________>.... Either way… Go Hitchhiking!!! wOOt'ness in a handbasket!!!111!!!1!1!!1

I work at a theatre, so I pretty much see everything that comes out, and I gotta say that right now, Ocean's 12 (While not as good as Ocean's 11) and Incredibles are the two best movies out. and Closer is very good too, if you like that kind of movie. Blade, I thought was a bit disappointing, plot and storyline were just bad, and the entire movie was just flashy fight scenes, effects, and annoying cliché phrases.

I have yet to see A Series of Unfortunate Events, but I really want to, Phantom of the Opera looks great, Meet the Fockers looks funny, and I'd rather stab myself in the foot then see Fat Albert.
