Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

What to do in San Diego?

It's a really fun place, I never get bored. Also, for those of you coming early there's an awesome league at game empire on sundays

Is this the store where the PR will be held on the weekend before worlds?

/edit: just found that out myself, guess I will be there then. Is anyone else going?

^I don't think so, I think it's going to be in a store called Artifex.

Well, I'm going to everything in San Diego before Worlds to get ready. So you'll definitely see me everywhere. :D

there will be prereleases on both saturday and sunday, before worlds: saturday at game empire and sunday at artifex.

The one at borders is just normal lleague. but the game empire one is like an actual tournament, which I like way better. It's very fun

They give out a ton of prizes and that stuff, I like it very much. The sound of the both Pre-Releases on one weekend is a great way for preparing for Worlds.

I just noticed that the WARPED TOUR is in SD on the 8/22...
I'll leave on the 17th.... *cries*

seriously, I'm on the edge of crying right now, wonder it its possible to change my flight dates x_______X

Go to Old Town. I remember in 05 there was this amazing Mexican Resturant in Old Town where they make the Toritillas infront of you on the corner. And it's fairly cheap, for 100% Amazing Authentic food. It was also on Rachel Ray's $40 a Day show. Then you can drive about thrity(?) minutes North to LaJola, and see the sunset over the ocean and Wild Sea Lions. It's truly amazing.

Does anyone know the closest beach access to the Hilton? Or since it's "Hilton on the Bay" does that mean that guests have access to the waterfront?

there's access to the harbor, but there really isn't a 'beach' there. the shore is mainly rocks...

if you take the ferry over to coronado island i believe there is a tiny beach area by the ferry landing (it's been a while since i've been there though).

imperial beach is south of the downtown area, but at times can get very...polluted...due to it's proximity to the us/mexico border. your best bet would be mission bay park, or pacific beach, ocean beach or torrey pines state park...all of which require a car to get to, though.
