Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

What's good with Dialga Lv.X

Rigged dice. =D
Also, it would probably work best with a deck that doesn't actually need to attack often.. Which would be in like a spread deck that uses mainly powepowers.

Something like maybe dusknoir lvl X, bronzond MD, dusknoir SF2, etc.

Pokemon that inflict damage for being hit, etc.

Gengar SF Bronzong MD Electrode 36 SF Dusknoir lvX dusknoir SF2 Aerodactyl [doesnt need to attack] empoleon lvX and Rhyperior[ they cant attack on the next turn, so it doesnt matter if your opponent flips both heads.

What's good with Dialga Lv.X? Why, the answer is simple...

Absolutely nothing.

You're better off just selling the thing for five bucks.

the ONLY combo with it, would be venusuar SW and bronzong MD so that you can hit powers for 10 between turns and then make them have a a special condition.

It works great in disruption and control decks in theory. Lock there Powers etc. and make it even more annoying by having the chance to make them skip a turn to do things over.

The risk is not worth the reward unless you are not going to attack. If you are playing a deck that does not attack every turn you will pretty much lose anyway.

2 Dialga lv.X in play = 37,5% for your opponent missing a turn.

Sure, there's 37,5% for yourself ending the turn early. That means, you have a change to do everything else except attacking if your flips fail. On the other hand, missing a full turn can be devastating.

Playing wallers with Dialga Lv.X is the correct strategy. Then, when you happen to get the extra turn, devastate your opponent.

Venusaur SW.

Seriously, it's not a bad card when you play it right. Using Time Skip every single turn and focusing a deck around that strategy is obviously bad. With a Dialga Lv. X deck you should take into account the possibility of Time Skip backfiring, but you shouldn't rely on it.
Only use Time Skip at crucial times, when you can afford to not attack, your opponent can't afford to miss a turn, or when you'll lose otherwise. With Venusaur, you can limit the potential disadvantage if you need to use Time Skip, while allowing you to knock out Pokemon with poison or burn, and get a chance to use Time Skip without any risk. Also, it has high HP, as well as a healing attack.
