There was a Japanese kid that got 2 place in Juniors in 2007 and then aged up and won Seniors next year. It is very impressive to do better the year you age up than the previous year. I've heard he was tutored by Yamato, though.

If it comes down to most tournament wins ever, I'd have to say that either myself or Jason K hold the easy record for that, simply because of our time playing in the WotC era as well. If you are referencing simply in one season, then that is difficult to know off the top of my head, but a lot of Juniors and Seniors do very well at that. It is much more difficult to have that sort of season in the Masters division, obviously.

For masters my best season was

1st states
2nd states
1st Regionals
T32 Nationals
3rd Worlds.

I don't know some other peoples

Most tourney wins of all time?

I think Andrew K will have that, given that he was the #1 ranked player in at least 2 straight years.

I would like to see the totals for James B. (Jimmy Ballard's son) who has to be close.

I know the masters will hate to hear this, but it is going to be a Junior with the title of MOST titles.

I would like to see Diaz's total out of the east, and Geoff's totals out of Pennsylvania, and Curran's titles out of NC. Drew F I think for one year was lights out, but had major competitors in his other years.

I think Andrew's advantage was he was younger when he started, so he got to stay a Junior longer.

Who else has a STADIUM title, along with a Regionals title (OK, like 5 of them), 3 T3 Nationals, Deep Worlds runs (undefeted swiss one year, x-1 2 other years).

Highest quality wins of all time, Jason's 2 Worlds, Curran's amazing year, and several Japanese younger players join the list, along with Lesage.

My opinion.

Vince, the first person to pop into my my mind for a "most wins" was Andrew - I forgot he did that two straight years lol... Curran won Nats in our first year of playing I remember Drew and James played in top 8 and David R lost to Curran in top 4 I think -Not sure how many wins Curran had, but the quality was unmatched..... I still think Josh S has the record for most in a year though - it seems like I remember Andrew sitting out of BR's and helping to judge or something?..... Most ever? Now that is a tough question....Back in the day they didn't have as many tournies, so guys like Fulop and Ness never got to pad there resumes as juniors, like our kids. It's pretty hard for those guys to match 60 + wins in 5 years as a junior of which I'm sure there are several since POP took over....The OP said most wins... but as someone who has won a reasonable amount of tournies and still considers himself a "tier 2 player", I think those people like Seena,Ness and Fulop to name a few that have premier wins/placings are much more impressive........What you win is more important than how many in the annals of history lol.....Andrew's showings certainly put him in both catagories..

Responding to Vince, after counting everything up I have like 10 BR wins, 23 Cities, 7 States, 4 regionals, 1 Nationals, then top 8 at worlds. The thing keeping me out of this list are my worlds performances, top 8, top 32 twice, and miss 4 times. The person with the most wins is likely Krekeler as I was the only one even close to him in rankings those years or Curran because he wrecked kids for like 3 seasons. Also Curran and Lesage are the only two to ever win one of each event, Stewart didn't win regionals his year

Wow, I love that this has turned into a backhanded recognition of some great younger players thoughout the years!

See, Masters don't get all the love!

The wolverines like to play the game at a high level too!! (Piglets who stomp all over everyone are now known as wolverines. Just made it up. It will stick)
