So someone's favorite team should be the one they have season ticket's to? Lordy i hope no ever gives me season tickets to the Lions. :lol:

Hail to the Chiefs, baby!
I grew up a Steelers fan thanks to my dad. Lynn Swan was my hereo. Got to meet him when i was young. Played my whole life til i had a career ending knee injury. Stopped watching because i was so bitter, plus watching leg injuries was just too tough.
Then i met Christian Okoye and Derrick Thomas in KC. Had such a good chat with them and thier passion for the game inspired me. Started watching Chiefs games, hating Elway, and even playing a bit (against doctor's orders).
The Nigerian Nightmare was amazing for a few short years, and KC's defense back in the 90s was AWESOME! Highest take-away ratio, Derrick Thomas and Neil Smith were so dominant.
I even got to see Joe Montanna play for the Chiefs against Dan Marino. How great is that?
Hoping for a bit of that magic to come back. I live in New England now, where it's Pats all day every day, but i will forever be a CHIEFS fan!

Let me add on to what I said as you made it sound like I liked them only because I have season tickets. I grew up having tickets for them. Since that is the case I am a fan of them. However, I have NEVER rooted for any other team, nor will I. I am not sure why I like them, but they will always be my favorite football team.
As for the Patriots, I can't stand them and will NEVER root for them, unless it would mean the Jets made the playoffs. I think this might of been the case in 2002.
Not cool. I have had season tickets since before I can remember. I will always like the Jets. I find it funny that it is always the same people who decide to analysis my comments and poke fun at them. It isn't very nice.
That is not what I meant and everyone should of know that. I am more of a fan that some of my friends who switch teams based on who is their favorite player.
You guys are alll being jerks IMO, and personally I don't appreciate it. I like the Jets I couldn't tell you why, other than my family rooted for them when I was growing up in which we had season tickets.
