my family drinks alot of soda/water/juice/etc.
anything in a plastic bottle.
i know i can go through like a few 20oz sodas a day.

@crazy: Rather than just saving the nickles from soda cans, just don't buy the soda. You'll save more money.
DJ how inconsiderate of you!! crazypokemon is saving the enviorment also drinking soda or any beverage from plastic bottles is very healthy for ones body and mind.

yea i know but i drink soda anyway so instead of just getting rid of the bottles and cans i can cash them in.I drink anyway so i matters well.
Im only intrested in 3 trophy cards the kangskhan,TMB 3 and pika 3.
just need one illustration of each.
Hopefully one of those will be available.
The reason why i pick july is because if it takes me too long to save up something will end up happening and ill have to spend it on something else and it will tke me forever to get the card.
I want to get it done s soon as possible because life always shows up to delay what you wanna do you know what i mean.So get it done and over with quickly.
Plus when it gets hot like summer i drink alot.
and im also saving up the change from every dollar i spent so that will help alot too.

well i know soda is not healthy even diet soda is not healthy because they still put junk in diet soda.
and saving the environment is just a bonus by saving up for the trophy card.

Well its healthier than drinking motor oil or battery acid.
Do you get soda for free or something since I don't really see how one can earn money that is isn't considered a loss when what a bottle costs between $2-$4 and you're getting a nickle in return. better not to drink the soda at all. Do the math 5 cents for everything you drink for a No. trainer trophy card that averages from $1k-$10k and this is to be done by July!! ROFL!!!

she buys it not me.

Saving 5 cents per can, and saving between now and July you would need to drink around 164 cans per day in order to afford a trophy card. And that's just at $1,000 which is pretty much the lowest one would ever go for.

I also said i would save up on change in my pocket everyday.for instance if i buy a sandwhich and i get 60 cents in change that 60 cents goes in to saving up for things.The change of everything i buy too goes to saving up.its not just bottles and cans alone.
I also said im not the only one in my family that drinks so i get there bottles and cans too.
And i also said its not just soda its water juice bottles etc that is plastic and i can cash them in.
i have about 5 dollars saved up based on the left over change in my pocket from the last weeks lunch the change from my total.

If you keep that trend of saving then you will have about $80 by almost mid-July. And possibly Diabetes.

Who's bickering were just talking.
they were simply asking how i was gonna pull this off.
I was just letting them know there is more ways i was saving up money.
No one is bickering.
I saved 5 dollars this week just from the change of my luch everyday this week.All that change alone added up to $5.
I still havent cashed in the bottles/cans.
also im not going to drink a insane amount of drinks to get the card faster.Im just gonna drink the normal amount i usually drink and slowly but surely saved up.
Again even i dont know if ill get it july.I would like to but plans dont always go through.

Even if this is polite conversation, I just am not interested in your detailed saving plan which may or may not get you a trophy card by July.
This goes double since you don't seem to have some sort of budget. So you're going to drink and save on sandwiches to scrape up enough to get a trophy card? If you need to go to such lengths, surely there are better things to do with your money?

Well i just bought uncut sheets,sealed videogames,psa cards,sample cards,a few eon ticket cards.
Some more stuff i cant think of at the moment.
Once i get the stuff i will upload them to youtube i just bought a vid camera today.
And this is the last time i will comment on the trophy card saving-I could have bought 1 or 2 trophy cards assuming its minimum price but i decided that was too easy i wanted to make a challenge for myself by saving up for it.
Anyway back on topic did anyone buy those trophy cards that were on ebay.
they seem kinda cool.

Nothing major. Bought a bunch of Japanese Boosters. 5 x Ereader series 1 and 4 x Base. Pulled a Charizard in one of the Base packs so I was reasonably stoked.

Just curious has anyone been dealing issues with paypal this weekend.
I have money in my balance and it says i dont have enough money that i need to add more.
I have more then enough money to cover the cost to send to someone but it says "i need to add more."
Anyone else had this problem I would have had $50 or so after the pay was made,i would have had $50 left over after the transaction was complete.
Is this a common glitch or what.
Also it supposed to show he transaction made immediatley but now it takes a while to show up in the history.
