OK. Celio's, DRE, Scramble and Steven's is gone, and the deck that 50% of the US population has run has taken a serious downfall. Where do you guys think this deck will land in the new DP-On format?
...Plox is supposed to run Steven's?
I don't see how the format change is going to take anything away from GG. Sure, it loses DRE but so does everything else. You're forgetting that Psychic Lock is possibly one of the best attacks in the world and combined with Gallade and Gardy lv.x is still possibly the most hard hitting deck in the format. Unless someone finds a way to completely counter GG next format or people just stop playing it for some reason you will still see it being played in large numbers.

Well, the big winner in the format change is Magmortar/Typhlosion. It will become playable again becaue you don't need special energies. GG will have issues without DRE or Scramble. It can't deal with no double or triple energies. The fact is that is what makes the deck so good. You can power it up so quickly. Look at Banette. Banette had some issues with GG if they couldn't lock a beach in. Now, your telling me that GG won't have a problem without DRE or Scramble, I have to disagree with you there.

Yea I'm definitely gonna have to agree with you on Magmortar being the clear winner (or anything that doesn't utilize DRE, for that matter) but all I was saying was that GG is not going away as quickly as people say it's going to. Yea it'll have set-up problems without DRE or Scramble but it's not enough to hurt it like people say it will.
And as for AMU, I still don't get it how it has the better matchup against GG. So it can do 200 damage every other turn? That's good?
I dont see how AMU will be such a great deck anyway. Getting out 3 lv.Xs is really inconvenient and they can be easily walled by Mewtwo lv.X. It may be a threat to Plox and G&G but they are not the best cards coming out in L.A., not to mention IFDS.
Its UMA. Uxie comes first. And it is PRETTY good, but in a format full of cards that are better than we're used to its not really THAT amazing. It is inconvienient but there are plenty of non-supporter pokemon searching cards that will make it pretty easy to get off the T3 God Blast. There's also so many options within the deck, built in mini-power denial, and other restrictions with the MT Faeries (the right list uses a specific combination of MT and LA). Hypothetically speaking Mewtwo X would have to be countered but Mewtwo X won't be played much, not even as a UMA counter because UMA won't be that popular (it seems to be getting mostly negative reviews, but it will make a competitive rogue).
You probably won't even need to God Blast once against G&G. In theory they will never get set up, and even if they do they will have a very hard time making a comeback. And how is Magmortar going to do ANYTHING??? *looks at Kingdra*
Tell me how does GG not get set up. Gardy is still probaly the fastest deck to get set up just not to be attacking. Also how does amu ruin set up. Yes it's fast but are you saying it's a T2 deck or a Donk deck.
